I have to admit that I didn't see the whole game, but based on the highlights the Pens D did Fleury no favors last night.

not sure i will be able to watch the caps today. apparently the station here is going to show a local telethon instead, but we're hoping it's not the case. satellite radio as a back-up, but i will not be happy if i can't watch!

The Pens D has been brutal, but he's leaving rebounds in awful places (Jagr's goal was particularly dreadful) and he is out of position an awful lot of the time, even on shots not getting to the net.

yay, troy! finally, after about 100 minutes of trying, we score on tim.

Danzig 04-14-2012 05:48 PM

NICKY!!!!!!!!!

i got in the shower while tony was raising hell with nbc in monroe. the telethon was over, but they didn't change to the game.
i came out, he'd paused it as they finally put it on. backstrom, so glad he's back from his concussion.

1-1, going home.

Blackhawks..Score Game 1 to tie with 14 secs and score Game 2 to tie with 5.1 secs..livin' on the edge. Back home tied at 1. Coyote fans loud but I'm not sure they really know what's going on?

declansharbor 04-15-2012 03:04 PM

Shittsburgh is a bunch of sore losing pu$$ies!! I love it!

Danzig 04-15-2012 03:07 PM

asham is a punk. can't stand that guy.

Danzig 04-15-2012 03:09 PM

wow, neal just made those two pay. should have gone for a simple poke check, rather than trying to crunch him. oops

golfer 04-15-2012 05:05 PM

The officiating in the NHL right now is a disgrace. Talk about losing control of a game? These guys are clueless.

Danzig 04-15-2012 05:13 PM

i blame bylsma. he should never have left neal out there after that hit. and then neal promptly goes after giroux. i guess he figured he's not going to play the next game after leaving his feet and taking out couterier?

what a mess, will they ever start play again?

Danzig 04-15-2012 05:29 PM

ought to be a heck of a game wed.....

golfer 04-15-2012 05:33 PM

I think the Neal hit on Couterier was an accident. Not the one on Giroux, though.

It would be a better game Wednesday if Pittsburgh holds goaltender tryouts between now and then. Fleury was a sieve today.

To my eye, they were 2 guys going in opposite directions, I thought Neal jumped up to try and avoid the contact, when he realized he couldn't he braced himself and appeared to deliver the blow. That's how I saw it.

Rumor has it a certain trainer who is regular on this board was in attendence today. Could be starting in net for the pens on wed. Will be a BIG upgrade. :D
