No she isn't....

IMO she is a play against, I think she ran her race last time.

Awesome Feather is the longshot that interest me the most in that race.

I think her last was so easy. She just rolled home. Garcia hardly asked her, and Baffert will have her ready.

Well Garcia is shy. Plus she's known to get sassy when being told what to do.

Really?!

She can win, but she didn't really do it easy. She just built up a big lead and held on.

I disagree, but OK.

Paddy O to the Classic They turned down 10 million for him

So the Turf lost Fame and Glory,Paddy and Cape Blanco all in 1 day

I don't believe they turned down 10 million for him. I know that he wont be worth 15 million with a 3rd place finish and there is zero chance he will be worth 30 million if he wins.

What exactly was the reason that we have a BC marathon? This race is a joke.

alysheba4 10-25-2010 01:00 PM

agree.

Its obvious they just need a race designated as BC Race so when they sell the packages for 2 days worth of racing they have the product.

Its silly and stupid, they had the perfect format with 7 races and like racing always does F'd it all up.

I like all the other additions (why would you not want more betting opportunities?), but this race is pretty laughable - especially on the dirt. It'll be interesting to see how the Euros run on dirt. . . I'm guessing they won't run well for the most part.

It is a race in a non-existent division. They would be better off wth a filly turf sprint if they want to have C level BC races.

I agree with you that it's a joke. Obviously it's meant to appeal to the Euros, as they have a "stayer" division over there. . . the fact that it's not on turf is possibly the biggest joke of all.

On turf it would just be a bad race. On dirt it is a complete waste of time.

Riot may say that peer-reviewed scientific study would show that there are less injuries in 1 3/4 dirt races than any other races in the US.

Right now, handicapping and watching Iron Man 2.

I dont see how the other races have made the BC better, it was much more interesting when the euro horses entered both the filly and colt juveniles....when mile horses with speed tried to stretch it to 10F.

The turf sprint is even a novelty IMO, is there even a grade 1 turf sprint, or how many are grade 2 during the year. Again was better to have them try it in the dirt, would we have ever had a Sheik Albadou if there was a grass sprint?
