I'd still take the four you laughed at over Pippen, who was lucky he played with Jordan.

LOL

Well I never saw Cousy play but I'm guessing that a he may have benefited from playing with 9 hall of famers.

Drexler is better than Scottie pippen? 1-1st team all NBA, 2-2nd team and 2-3rd team
Pippen was all NBA 1st team 3 times and 2nd team 3 times and third team once plus 1st team all defensive team 8 times

Barkley was a good player, well at one end.

James Worthy wouldn't even be in the hoF without Magic Johnson. Never made all NBA 1st or 2nd team.

I didn't know making all NBA teams was the only criteria.

How many plays did Worthy or Drexler opt out of (in a playoff game) because they didn't get the play called for them?

Pippen was a great player on great teams. We'll agree to disagree about Worthy.

So being one of the 5 or 10 best players in the league isnt important? We can agree that Pippen was obviously far superior defensively to all the players listed?

I love how the body of work of a player is suddenly not important because of one boneheaded moment.

James Worthy was a 17 point a game player that didnt rebound much, pass or play great defense. 17-5-3 for his career.

Beasley to Wolves for 2nd round pick. Though there was an interesting note that said that the teams would swap a future 1st rounder but didnt give details. More cap space for Riley to work with and an enigma eliminated. So if they have a MLE and I guess about 5 million from Beasley they can get three semi-live bodies to go along with the other 4.

James Worthy was a 17 point a game player that didnt rebound much, pass or play great defense. Arguably the worst modern player in the hall of fame. 17-5-3 for his career.

Yes he was better defensively. I don't remember saying his entire body of work isn't important. I just brought up that he quit on his team when they needed him. You might not think that is important, but some might.

I love how being a 17 point a game player on a team of 3 hall of famers isn't important. Averaging 21 points in the game in the playoffs isn't important.

???

What does playing with three hall of famers have to do with averaging 17 a game? And that was in a high scoring era. Did they tell him not to rebound?

And I was never a big fan of Pippens or the Bulls. But he was a better player than James Worthy.

Mike Miller to Heat. Riley is working quickly to fill in the gaps. Let me make it 2-5 that dala says this too is a bad move.

We'll agree to disagree. If I was a coach I'd rather have Worthy on my team than Pippen.

You are drunk if you think Pippen was better than Worthy!

It's a loser town. Lebron knows it wouldn't of ever happened there.
Don't tell me it ain't a loser town. When have they won anything? LOL...Burning n' stomping (just like Muslims.) Owner making claim after claim that he'll never be able to back up. Said the guy quit in most of the games in that Celtics series. Celtics are a good team. A lot of teams have looked bad against them. Hey, the player realizes that he can't do it by himself. Kobe couldn't either. Lakers sucked 3-5 years ago. Hey, if it wasn't a sht hole, then they'd of gotten Bosh or someone to go up there, and this would of gone better. It is sad that a city had to be humiliated on live T.V., but they are used to it. It's Fresno on a contaminated lake.Wonder how Byron Scott feels about now.

Killing people in LA because your precious Byron Scott has been taken from you is only making you a childish serial killer.

It all boils down to what that particular team needs. In halfcourt offense Worthy was infinitely better than Scottie Pippen. Pippen was actually pretty useless in the halfcourt offense.
He was, however, good in transition, and one of the best defensive players in the history of the sport.

Pippen is just a really hard player to judge, both because he had a fairly unique skill-set, and because he played most of his career with the greatest athlete in the history of time.

The more I think about it though, the more the Knicks make sense. I know that there is a lot of handwriting on the wall that says Miami at this point but I can't imagine him doing that. To me, that would be an extremely weak move for the best player in the world.

New Orleans doesnt have the money to pay Chris Paul. The knicks have money and expiring contracts. Couldnt they package up expiring contracts along with picks? And if not for Paul, couldnt they get Arenas or any number of other second tier players? Wouldnt guys play for less to be on THAT team in new york in THAT system? And if not in New york, couldn't they do that in Cleveland?

I say New York or Cleveland but New York would be my choice as to where he goes.

Mr. Clyde-

Was that you burning a LeFraud jersey on the televeesion this morning? They didn't play the audio but it looked like the person was saying

ROR!

I'm just curious to see who the role players are for this team. I'd think they're going to run out of cap space soon, no? It's the NBA, so this is somewhere below when Walter Ray Williams Jr. will bowl his next perfect game and the NCAA swimming championships in my own personal pantheon of sports interests, but one would have to think the Heat would be up against it in the near future. Lots of D League talent coming to a starting lineup near you.

But no....it weren't.

Am actually glad he is gone.People call me crazy, but I think the team will be better off without him... time will show this...but is amazing with all the real problems going on how locals are going out of their gourds over this thing.

Do you realize how much rye bread is?

Outrageous.
