The Lady's Secret Stakes is only 8.5 furlongs again.

what the hell is the idea of aiming there next?

these races aren't long enough. Maybe I have false expectations for her, but i think she has shown the talent and has the physical size to be a real classic distance horse. Maybe she has distance limitations?

Nothing. Your point wasnt in that context. It was about who Zenyatta has beaten. She beat a horse twice that came east and won the Ruffina by 12.

That's all.

Drugs is going to open a can of whip asre on you, dont make logical arguments with him.

Ah, number 12 for the powerful Street Cry mare

The undefeated, undisputed champion of all active fillies and mares

Looking more and more like that little filly back east ... Rachael Alexander or whatever her name is ... is gunna have to show up at the CHAMPIONSHIP event in Arcadia this fall if she wants to have any kind of shot at being a legit champion of the division…

They are in separate divisions, so far Zenyatta has been excluded from her races as they are for 3 year olds....

Only care about one 'division' on that side ... Best Female

And like I said ... Z is the undefeated, undisputed champ

While I don't agree with Haskin line-by-line, this is a good article on the Rachel vs. Zenyatta matter:

I hope someone takes this last part and uses it as their signature. Then again, it did give me an immediate headache, so maybe not.

that was a fantastic piece..

The part that I didn't like the most was towards the end when he says that both camps must be respected for doing what's best for their filly. I get so tired of hearing that bs line. They are all doing what's best for them, not their horses. The horses will go in the gate and run no matter who they are lined up against. Maybe they are doing what's best for their horse's reputation or record but that's all. And those things are again, in the best interests of the human connections. They are all about trying to win championships that the humans can brag about and raise value so the humans can capitalize.

It doesn't. I just get tired of owners and trainers always getting credit for supposedly doing what's right for the horse when the horse is usually what's best for the horse is among the last things considered.
