i hope the horse runs , his connections are good for the game

i just put out an opinion that i don't think he will go because it will be very hard to have him at 100% for a 10f race , i could be right , i could be wrong time will tell , what do you think will he be in the starting gate ?

Actually, you put forth your opinion which is simply "an opinion" -- as fact. But that's OK. Based upon your posts, you seemed to be saying "can't" as a fact -- and of course now you are saying "can't" but "hope" -- regardless, it's moot. You can make yourself right whether he wins or loses.

no if he runs and losses i will be wrong , my opinion is that he will not go , it is a fact that he has an injury

beyer , andy , crist can analyse all the numbers from know until the cows come home and they are all very good at it , but , as far as preperation for a 10f race the horse is behind , the numbers are the numbers, but they don't tell the whole story

This was your original so called "fact" which Jimmy clearly stated was not an issue. Regardless, I don't want to argue and play internet ping-pong here. It really doesn't matter.

Seperate and distinct -- what I think will be very interesting is how Jimmy will prep this horse. He had to adapt, improvise, alter schedule, etc. for the FL Derby a bit, and let's face it, that's what a good portion of this game is about. It's day to day. Not that it matters, nor do I know, but I kind of wonder if Jimmy goes and asks 'The Chief' or perhaps they just talk about it, or if they don't talk about it at all. Regardless, Jimmy is a sharp horseman. I am looking forward to next month and how everything takes shape.

2:5 Chuck is too embarrassed to be here to let Jimmy know about this place.

It's my belief that Quality Road will not be in the gate on Derby Day. I just don't like hearing stuff like this this close to the race. You need things to almost go perfectly and I'm sure that in almost every barn, nothing goes perfectly but I believe that this incident leans more towards significant than it does towards insignificant. They become battles you have to fight daily and it's different when you are working with a horse that you can pull back with and map out your own schedule. When you are dealing with a set schedule, I think it compromises what you planned on doing. I hope he's there but if I had to make a bet either way today, I'd bet he won't be.

I just want to make this thread 15 pages long as we talk about a quarter crack, which can be as insignificant as a hangnail, or as significant as... well, whatever.

The bottom line is this: If QR is healthy, he's in the gate. If QR is not healthy, he's not in the gate.

And many of those posts aren't mindless one-liners either ... in fact, some are even true DrugSian quality efforts.

Cannon has won battles in The Paddock on topics ranging as wide as from 'who is the best 3yo in the last 20 years' to 'what color hat will Kent Desormeaux's wife wear next'

He has won battles in the Political section in elegant and professional fashion on topics ranging as widely as 'How would your presidential adminstration differ from Obamas' to 'Maureen Dowd - sexy milf or leftist nutjob?'

In the Sports section he has masterfully showcased a wide range of skill - from debating who the best NBA players of all-time are by position and even showing his work .. all the way to posting a Youtube video of a fat, loudly weaping Giants fan with a Jew-Fro in tears over a playoff loss.

why don't you cup his balls while your at it also?

It was meant more as a light hearted knock than a compliment....

Just because you can't follow a race without a color coated saddle towell system doesn't mean you have to take it out on me.

Ok?

I just don't believe those two have the coordination to play ping-pong.

The Indomitable DrugS 04-09-2009 11:12 AM

Yeah,

I'd take Westcoastinvader and the points against both in ping-pong anyday.
