Nope. . . who's he going to beat? The only competition will be in the BC if BGC doesn't race in the Travers. . .

I agree that BGC didn't beat much either. BGC and Bernardini are pretty much even right now in terms of their performances so far. Look how much Barbaro beat BGC by in the derby and it's obvious that Barbaro was superior to any other horse this year. And it's not like BGC wasn't clearly 2nd best in the derby either.

Not exactly the Preakness, as Bernardini had won. It's too difficult to say how superior Barbaro was, because he never got to face Bernardini. Also, given the trips some of the horses had, I don't know if on Derby day, he was the second best horse, although I can't take the result away.

BGC beat more finishing second in the derby than Bernardini did winning the preakness

fact is that bernardini and bluegrass cat are the two best three year old colts in training. hopefully they tackle each other in the travers, settle the question of who is top dog (or cat?)...maybe!

aaagh. . . i just realized that it says pimlico under my name. . .

How did he not?

He beat all the good horses that Bernardini beat in the preakness plus Jazil, Steppenwolfer, Keyed Entry, Lawyer Ron, Sinister Minister, Point Determinded, AP Warrior, etc. . .
