I can't remember who lost the rider in that race.

i remember watching that race, but can't remember who did the dumping either!

I got it wrong. I didn't remember any loose horse the year Cuvee won it - but he was always braided like that.

It's Private Vow (another Asmussen runaway winner of the Futurity) Asmussen braids a lot of horses up like that.

The loose horse was some Serpe longshot I think.

did he have zanjero? i remember him being braided up too...

Bailey's main concern aboard the odds-on favorite was outsider Disco's Son, who was running loose without a rider after dropping Javier Castellano following the start. Disco's Son behaved himself while galloping with Private Vow down the lane and the 2-year-old son of Broken Vow won while easing up as they approached the wire. The final time for the seven-furlong event was 1:24 on a fast track.
