Sounds like you may have spent some time in Dayton.

Information......information. That's what you said. Opinions are information. ...bad as yours are.Facts are information as well .You wanted to infer Pryor picked the wrong team.

Facts show you to be grossly erroneous.

You keep skidding on the "filled with falsehoods" challenge.

There are no facts on the Pryor school decision...only opinion by us. The only fact is he chose OSU...from there come opinions. I know zero about the kid...I had no knowledge about his "attitude" or whatever. I knew he was the most sought after qb in AMerica and as a PSU alum...I wanted him there. I made an off-handed remark stating he should have gone there and what came next in the thread, came next. Sue me, I want the best players at PSU.

Sometimes you have to do what's best. I got a good job in Idaho that I like and I actually do have 4 kids. I have to make money. There are nice things about Idaho in all reality. Just like all things aren't great in Ohio.

^^ Has no idea what's going on.

Bid, God knows you've always been there for me with your Beulah selections, but please don't take this thread off course. It was about beating the dead corpse of JoePa, not Rod. Please stay on topic.

I know exactly what's going on for the most part. You took this as an opportunity to obliterate Penn State. I simply said the kid should go to Penn State rather than OSU.

Somehow I find it odd that I am always the losing patsy when phrases like "dead corpse of JoePa" are used. :( :(

be glad you Didn't get him.. the kid is trouble. guys like pryor wreck teams. JoePa would not have put it with it. he chose osu because they have promised him playing time, a tim tebow package for this coming season. no other school would promise him playing time as a freshmen. the vest can't need help at qb that bad?

He's going for the largest margin of defeat to a SEC team in the modern era.

The Bid 03-21-2008 11:48 AM

I apologize to Mr Late Fires for taking this topic about State Penn off topic. In following the topic State Penn sucks

One of the ironies of your comments Avery is that you stated how Penn State fans were postulating how we'd show them what real football is in the Big 10!! Nothing could be further from the truth I don't think. Maybe fans said that...( I never did...being a big 10 Fan for the most part growing up.) But the PSU administration joined in fact because of the "tougher" competition of the big 10. Again, it is debatable how "weak" the previous schedules of Penn State were playing before joining the big 10. But the facts are it was Penn State's supposed weak schedules that kept their undefeated 68, 69, and 73 teams from being national champions. (of course the '68 season was OSUs title playing in the brutal big 10 giving them the edge!) This problem was supposed to be curtailed by PSU entering the big 10. And the great irony is that in their 3rd big 10 season they indeed went undefeated playing "midwestern" football and yet still weren't voted national champions evidently because their schedule wasn't tough enough?? So the history of Penn State under Paterno is they played a weak eastern schedule pre-big 10 which wasn't good enough...so they join the big 10...go undefeated and the schedule wasn't good enough.

One of the oddities of being a Penn State guy...4 undefeated teams in the last 40 years not "good" enough to be champs. Yeah...we're bitter people!

horseofcourse 03-21-2008 01:00 PM

Of course, Avery I would be remiss in not mentioning that PSUs two "real" national championships came with Ohio kids playing QB!!

Mortimer 03-21-2008 02:27 PM

I can't read this anymore either.

have you not learned that osu fans live in their own little big10 candy land?

horseofcourse 03-21-2008 02:45 PM

In very rare and unforecasted occurrences I am occasionally right. It does happen.

well, I kind of do too since PSU is part of it and I still follow the Bucks being an Ohio boy. Me and Avery fight about everything though. It's just nature. Overall with the big 10 many jabs are warranted and many are not.

( I honestly enjoy my jabberfests with Avery. And he loves it too..I am after all THE Main Course...)
