She was obviously just trying to create a buzz!! She's got to be thrilled after having not one word said about her on DerbyTrail, she is now worthy of a 5 page thread!! Was this one of those Dean Martin celebrity roasts? Were Don Rickles and Ruth Buzzi involved?? If not, it was a pretty much useless roast anyway.

i don't think she was after a buzz, this is the only place i've heard about what she did. so, if she was trying to create anything, it didn't work.

For one thing, almost no Catholics agree with their own religion about everything. This is unique. Most holy rollers eat the whole damn enchilada, but Catholics eat a portion.Even the conservative Catholics don't agree with the Social Justice teaching. You think Hannity gives a **** about anybody poor? Very little(if at all.) Look at Rick Majerus admitting he is in favor of abortion rights.

It's a unique form of Christianity (in which the great majority don't agree with leaders of their religion.) BTW,I think (when you compare Catholics to other Christians) the Catholics are far ahead in terms of acting "like Christ would like." All forms of Christianity accent what parts of Christianity they enjoy the most.Having a Protestant background,I can tell you that Protestants generally accent stuff that I just don't think Christ would accent. The average Catholic is (overall) more in line with Christ's teachings. The average Protestant is more judgemental and harsh than I think Christ would like Christians to be.I think I would like Christ a lot more than my brother(who is a holy roller on a runaway train.)

Anyone who can get Bill Donahue on their bad side tends to usually be a pretty good person, so I'll call this one in favor of Jacobson, running Donahue's record to a stunning 0-116.
