So I would recommend the Arkansas. I think if the track is off, Curlin is vulnerable. He is on the inside. I think he will get lots of mud in his face (with the way he starts) which he has never experienced. The problem as always is who do you like here. So now I quit as this is a Bluegrass thread.

My selection for the Arkansas Derby is in that thread. :)

Oaklawn is the only track i've capped today. I'm still waiting for the track condition and scratches. Track is listed as fast but I find that hard to believe.

Kind of amazing that every horse in this field has a win over polytrack except for Street Sense.

Well, SS just ALMOST had a win....lost by a lip to Dominican.

Yeah, what was the story with the track? Was it rolled? Only got to see the 10th race.

The only thing Teuflesberg ran against was the wind. those fractions were very slow and he still tired and drifted over into Great Hunter who then made Street Sense take a stutter step. Not much but he lost by not much. He didn't have his usual explosive turn of foot this time. Maybe next time?

Congrats to the people that had Dominican. Well played.

Ky Derby = Cinco de Mayo = Dominican
