Well, your guy on a Harley would represent just 1 of a thousand different types of bad boys.2 others would be Tiger Woods, and Phil Mickelson. You ever hear Tiger curse on the golf course? It's pretty loud.Do you think Tiger called girls when he said he would call them?? No,he was watching hoops, and "just forgot." Phil is different, and many would think he is a "nice guy type," but people love to watch him because why???? He has that one quality people love in bad boys...unpredictability........this man is a huge risk taker...a gambler. He has many good qualities, but there is that unpredictable streak in him that he just can't get ahold of,and that is a bad boy trait.See,men are attracted more by the simple visual than women are.Women are attracted by a bunch of qualities, but #1 would be is the person "interesting." Good boys are not interesting, and they are way too predictable for most women.Women are way too curious for their own good. They like a flawed hero. They like a guy with some quirks. These Romance novels have got this down to a science.

Yeah, I never threatened that... I didn't have much of a choice at the time. I was prego with Daniel and wasn't going to be able to work for at least a few months. 3 (my horse) wouldn't have been cared for and my ex's exact words were:

"I'll be God-DAMNED before I pay for that mule or go out there and even look at it."

Loading him up on that trailer took my breath away (in a bad way), but I found a good home for him at least and can be rest assured that he's taken care of now. Sometimes life sucks...

I guess Phil having a little "jungle fever" and getting some on the side makes him a bad boy too:eek:

WOW, Kevin...

See, there is no defined term for a "bad boy." It's probably different for most women...

Scuds, you're correct on most of your points. I definitely need an interesting guy... I hate to be bored. Horseplayers are hardly boring characters, though, so you guys provide me with massive amounts of entertainment without even realizing it.

I'm speechless here.

You're talking about "bad boys" and "risk takers" being one in the same, on a GOLF COURSE, of all places. Yes, they might miss a shot and blow the lead, but real risk takers...pass. Not a chance, not on a golf course.

Yes(if he indeed did that,)but the question is what is attractive (to women) about a bad boy.See,a typical married nice guy type would not even consider having that kind of sex. They don't want it.Bad boys are flawed. They want it,and constantly have an internal fight to avoid doing it.Women know that bad boys want sex with other women. They know they have to work to keep him sexually satisfied. He may be bad,but he is not dull,or uninteresting. The "nice guy" type has no problem having the same sex partner all the time.He doesn't have this interesting little internal war inside himself.Women don't seek out bad boys, but they are usually simply more attracted to them. They are often bored by the nice-guy type.Hillary is still with Bill, and that's because she(and most women) find him charismatic, dangerous, interesting etc.(a bad boy.)

Hmmm... I don't agree, Scuds. MOST men (even nice guys) have the internal war inside to stay faithful. And I can tell you this (excuse me for being forward), I have NO PROBLEM in the sack being creative, going at it multiple times, "working" to keep a guy sexually satisfied (is that really work?) Come on guys!

Furthermore, I've met a couple of nice-guy types who may look the part, but behind closed doors, watch out! :D

I used to drive drunk all the time...does that count for being a bad boy? Or just really stupid:o

Payson Dave 03-06-2007 03:26 PM

Drowned a few brain cells in beer over the years...
Had a couple Triumph bikes along the way...
Ran a 33' Express Cruiser from Florida to NY via the ICW / Atlantic Ocean...
Burnt holes in the sky from the left seat in a couple of small planes...
Chased pretty wimmen...and even lived with a few...
Been bettin horses for better than 35 years...

Ain't none of it makes ya a "bad boy"...just a fun luvin interesting kinda guy...

Keeping employed and acquiring a couple of waterfront houses along the way helps with keepin the good times going.

It was stupid bad-boy activity. You seem to enjoy risk taking, and competition.Don't you think most caddies are bad boys? You're a particular type of bad boy though. You don't have bad boy sexual attitudes. Also, unlike yourself, most men,and especially bad boys, don't like to gabb on the phone and email etc. as much as you do.I am not saying it is in any way wrong.I should introduce ya to my mom,and you 2 could talk (and talk) on the phone.

no thanks...God knows I have a hard enough time getting off the phone when I am talking to my own Mom or sister.

I do enjoy risk taking a great deal and competition even more so.

Caddies, bad boys?? um yeah...I could tell stories until the cows come home.
