I'd bet against Stumbling Block again. Lucked into a perfect trip.

Late P4 / P5 payouts

P4 comes back 612.60 for a buck; P5 with a completely logical 5-1 m/l winner comes back 10,544.00, for the same buck.

That's crazy.

That's crazy.

$612.60 was for $2.

Winner of the 6th, Snow Fair was 5-1 ML but went off 7-1...so I guess him taking no money turned people off using him in the pick 5?

Misprint in the morning paper here, my bad. I thought Snow Fair was a must use in the early P4, and was surprised he drifted to 7-1. The rest of the sequence was fairly routine, I stupidly tried to play against Serpa/KOC AE in the first leg of the late P4 which was my undoing there, but really there weren't any surprises at all in that sequence. I guess you're right, Kev.

Being outfinished by Taylor's Irish two back is a bit troubling, but she beat White Merlot in her last and White Merlot came back 9 days later and knocked off It's Me Mom....

1 1/16 seems maybe a little short for the Clement in the 3rd, no?

Maybe. But I think the class edge and Clement will carry him to the winner's circle.

Good luck, bro.

Of course when I single Ness, the horse bobbles out of the gate and gets nailed on the wire.

It was a tribute to the Power of Ness he made it that close. Stumbling start, appeared done before the top of the stretch.

The price on Garrison/Serpa is gonna be too juicy to pass up.
