I'm sure you find it quite amusing.

Oh gosh but that's good stuff.
Like your logic. I give up with the Browns---unless they win Sunday. Ohio State..........32 The Vulvarenes....26 |

No this was amusing |
Good one.

( I will still hope for the best!) Omri Casspi and CHristian Eyenga are millionaires...cool. That Semih Erden is really getting the shaft. |
yippy
Can wait. These poor guys.Doesn't ownership realize they have families to send support payments and HO's to support as well? Diamond earrings, watches, rings, nippley rings and $100,000 plus cars aren't easily maintained either these days. The slaves have forced the hand of the plantation owners. All power to the meek, for they shall inherit the earth which they had a large hand in overpopulating. |
I was just impressed that we have Israel, Turkey, Congo, Jamaica, Canada, Yugoslavia, Brazil all represented on the roster. We have a freaking Canadian on the roster, can you believe that?? It wasn't enough to have a first rounder from Congo on the roster we had to mine Canada too with this Tristan Thompson. I think the Turk will be my favorite...Semih Erden...he's playing for peanuts.
|
You're kidding me.
And I thought we had red lined Canadians out of this area. I hate Canadians...I hate their spaceships, I hate their hokey hockey game,I hate the way they go aboot talking,I hate their geese, I hate their whiskey,I hate Alex Keebeck and most of all I hate their Legion of Super Heroes because they don't have any. |
Well all the talking experts and non talking experts hated the pick of Tristan Thompson with the 4th pick in the draft, which tells me he'll probably be their best player, Canadian and all!!
|
I also hate Canadian Bacon...forgot that one.
This guy sounds like a Canadian Hot Dog. |
The lockout is over. I'm sure Cleveland fans are itching for Lebron to bring them that title....oh, wait a minute, sorry, forgot about...ya know.
|
I really didn't want to get into too much Cavs talk...that can wait for at least 30 days now. I had been reading up on this Houston practice squad player they picked up and he seemed impressive to me. Actually picked up two degrees at Texas and was a 4 time first team academic big 12 selection. He's run for over 200 yards his last two games and see they are likely going to bench the smart guy and start playing the guys dumber than a bag of hammers again. Peyton Hillis just seems very dim witted to me right now. Joe Thomas spoke highly of the intelligence of this Ogbonnaya kid too after the last game...although that may have been a subtle slam at Hillis by him. I have seen one game this year...the Seattle game and the kid only played maybe 15 plays but I clearly remember stating after the game on here that the Houston practice squad player was clearly their best offensive player they had in that game.
I'm not sure why Shurmur is in such a hurry to bench the kid after he's played so well, but that's what he said if Hardesty comes back and I read HIllis may be back too. So now that this Ogbonnaya kid has learned the offense and is running well they are both miraculously healthy again!! |

Wow,I did not know this. So His Highness may all of a sudden be able to play, huh? I'll be darned. I'd keep the Big O for the same reason I'd want Fickell and not Bourbon Meyer. |
Quote:
Mrs. Sirloin...you are woefully behind on the times. Same like with the horsey's; so at least you're consistent. |
The Browns just scored their first 1st quarter touchdown this year.
awethome!! |

You know, it's funny.
The Browns play just hard enough to allow the games to last just long enough so they can lose. |

Urban Meyer has so much talent perhaps he can coach both OSU and the Browns. Both will win titles. Nick Saban eventually went pro as did Petrino....I'm guessing in about 3 or 4 years Urban will be bored with OSU. Bowling Green, Utah, Florida, OSU....BROWNS!! Urban will save the whole state.

Quote:
I'd love what you would, but considering the difference in talent/experience coupled with those 2 in a division winner fight---I'll faint if we win one of those games. |
Quote:
He became infested with sec filth while at Florida. He comes here...that's it for me. Won't be an Ohio State fan anymore.Fickell is the right guy..they don't know it, but he is.They would rather buy another one selling out; thereby selling out themselves. |
Quote:
With a true freshman at qb, they were competetive with the top 5 in the league beating the best one of the 5 and within a TD of every single one. Freaking Urban is going to reap the rewards of Fickell having to take the lumps with a true freshman who is a tremendous talent. They get 10 starters back on defense too. Urban will get all the credit, but they'd have been just a good with Fickell too I think. He'd have gotten better too. |
It's a crying shame,Horsey.
Buying a pig like Bourban Meyer and thanking Fickel for taking on an impossible situation by saying ,"no thanks". If you read about the guy and saw his pre and post game Michigan press conferences..you would have no doubt.Give Fickel 2 years and the normal power a HC has,he would have done the job and stayed here for years. Hiring a carpet bagging, take my football and go home pig like Bourbon utterly disgusts me.The moment it is official is the moment I lose complete interest in college football;with no interest in Ohio State, then there is no interest. |
I copied this reader comment from The Ozone...responding to the announcement that Bourbon is official. He mirrors my thought perfectly, other than saying he'll " come around."
I won't. Believe me, the other 7 comments to date were quite the opposite. Sickening. If you can't beat 'em, open your checkbook & hire 'em. Ohio State honor & tradition sinks even deeper. The fact that I just saw the most selfish drama-queen in Buckeye Football history... Robert (Dr Bob) Smith applauding the hire, just solidifies my opinion. My Buckeye flag is now flying upside down in distress. I'll come around in time, because I'm loyal... but right now I'm ashamed. |

The rot is complete in college sports and this hire just simply verifies it. Even my beloved Penn State where you thought you at least had a loyal guy, the rot was total as he had the entire administration in a noose and his millions donated to the school for academic purposes was just a show. I knew they cheated as they all do but oh well. Meyer didn't want to rebuild in Florida, he had a good qb when he got there, Leak, then rode Tebow through the rest, then quit. Simple to analyze pretty much. It's easy to rebuild at Bowling Green and Utah, not so easy in the SEC with the other schysters in that conference. Big 10's a lot easier to rise quickly and they will and OSU is a perfect setup right now with Braxton Miller despite sanctions. It's all ridiculous.

Thanks so much. One could see his sincerity. He only played here 4 years and I think set the record for consecutive starts at 50...and he was good, but not an AA.He just understands and has oodles of heart. He always played that way. He took over one of the worst possible situations possible. He didn't pack it in. He never cried about the lambasting he got from many in media and the "fans." Michigan made the right move, obviously. They did it without buying some name who quit his last team.I think Meyer is all money and glamor. |

Fine work. Honest, I will never be an Ohio State fan again. If they win the NC 4 years in a row---I won't do it. They have sold out to Nike , etc,and their own worship of money. They roar all powerful until something hits and then they all run for cover. Enough for me. |
Well, evidently, now in the starring roles of Joe Paterno and Jerry Sandusky we present Jim Boeheim and Bernie Fine. And EVPN sitting on a taped phone call for 8 years. Of course it's all alleged, but at this point I'm inclined to believe all of it. And it features Fine along with his wife having sex with the same boy. If that tape is really Fine's wife, it's the pure embodiement of evil. I wish I hadn't listened to it.

Quote:
Boeheim probably shouldn't have come out so strongly against the accusers when this first came out, he was wrong there. But I don't think he just ignored it for the sake of the university like Paterno did. Of course, I could be totally wrong as it's getting more and more difficult to take anything these guys say at face value. |

Admit to be pleased as aging MerHigh with the vaporization of the Dukettes by Ohio State.
Seeing their Polish coach getting very upset was quite amusing. |

He was sure a good grab.
Hard as it is, I think they just might be better this year although I really liked Havlicek II. I think I heard Kentucky runs very deep, but it's nice to think about winning the big burrito this year. |
I'm actually looking forward to the Cavs season, they're still more fun when they're bad. The Indians are still the only team that I REALLY want to win. The other two--wins and losses are about the same. Tristan, Kyrie and Omri are funner names to cheer for than LeBronze. I'll say Ravens 27 and Browns 13 this week. We have a new long snapper too this week, that caused me to up it from 10 to 13 points this week!! I'll say this week four more times this week, and then this week I'll be done this week. This week is over.
(Rian Pontbriand...you and Phil Dawson were so good for so long, why'd you have to mess up the best combo in the NFL this year?? My Christmas is a bit sadder now this year.) |
Wish I could add to your comments.
About the only thing I'd say is a turtle could have done better than Pontbriand. In fact.....I better not say it. Stranger things have happened. |
They're only being outgained 410 to 150 so far early in the 4th. It's not the most even matchup in NFL history I guess!!
