My ADW is having a handicapping contest today for races 6-11 at Tampa. The only cost if the $24 to place the bets ($2WP). First place wins $500, so I'm gonna take some shots in each race.

Race 6 - #6 Why Pretend 15-1 ML - Turns back, loses Guidry and should get a pace to close into.

Race 7 - #9 Maggie the Cat 8-1 ML - Probably one of the few times you won't see Shepard/Homeister get hammered at the windows. A step forward going 2nd time turf should move her forward enough to put her in the mix. HVG OFF. GREAT betting race.

Race 8 - #7 High Spirit 7-2 ML - Bernie Butler. Hard to imagine a 7-2 shot getting lost on the board, but it very well may happen with this one.

Race 9 - #6 Ciguaraya 6-1 ML - Tough race for me. Going with this, as she at least has a decent race over the track.

Race 10 - #8 Federation 12-1 ML - I love her 2 races here so far. Be interested to she if she gets bet. I'm a big fan of Zagora, but she will be too short a price to use.

Race 11 - #5 Tell All You Know 15-1 ML - Stewart traditionally does a nice job spotting them, so I will trust him with this guy.

She ran a nice race. Zagora just too tough.

The absolute worst I can be behind is $30.40 going into the last race. I need this bomb in the last to stand any chance.

Just missed with the LD 2nd Timer yesterday. Darn those shippers on big days.

LD has 10/1 2ALO today but confused by the pace scenario as the pace figures I have are strange.
