The good news is Precedence, who I have played to win cause he was sitting on a big one  :D :wf for like the last two years won last night.

Hooray! :$:

He decided to pay me bac... oh wait, I didn't play last night.

It would suck if it weren't so damned funny, I guess.

my miss storm cat 09-28-2012 09:27 PM

I'm playing a single race tonight because I hadn't planned on it at all but just now saw that The Jackal is in R7@ Eagle Farm and I absolutely have to.

The odds are crazy and I think they'll get even better and I know he doesn't look too great on paper but we shall see. :$:

Good luck if you're playing tonight!

5-1 is crazy??

my miss storm cat 09-29-2012 01:22 AM

M/l was 20/1 and I thought it would go higher cause he's not, how do I put this.... I just thought it would be a LOT higher.

Certainly not the first time I'm wrong.

Rosehill R7 Here de Princess is at what?

$2 super 1/2/4/all just because

edit -He ended up going off at 33/1 which was more like what I had expected. Didn't hit the board.

my miss storm cat 12-21-2012 09:03 PM

I see Good Ba Ba is in to go in a race in Australia. I know he is a gelding but as a 10 yr old don't you think he deserves to be out getting fat enjoying the good life instead of finishing up the track ? With the millions he made in his career he could have bought several farms for him already.

My boy Precedence finally won one last year (the one time I didn't play him)... Triple Elegance won his last start a few days ago (yes, yes the one time I didn't...)... :D :wf

So I see The Jackal is in R7 @ Eagle Farm.

Not too tough a field... I think I shall. :$:

edit - Haven't watched replay yet but I guess he was last... :(

CF Orr at Caulfield tonight...

I'm using All Too Hard in the 2nd spot in a tri (Mufhasa on top and Wall Street, Pinwheel and the Craig Williams horse whose name I just blanked out on underneath) and have Mufhasa to win as well as boxed with Wall Street and Pinwheel.

Have to save so I can lose big time at Gulfstream tomorrow :D so that might be it for me for the evening.

Besides, I really don't want to even watch Good Ba Ba's race so I think that's all I'll bother with.

Anyone else playing?

edit - All Too Hard wins.

Happy Sydney Cup day!

Just had the first look at Randwick tonight...

R2...Crazy odds on both Diamond Earth (10/1) and Silk Pins (20/1, Williams up).

Good luck to Xanadu in the 3rd.

Don't think anyone beats Its a Dundeel (soooo many in that one that I like like Zurella, Silent Achiever, GH,, etc., but none of them will do it). One of two locks of the night.

Chalky couple of races with him and then Guelph in the following race.

In the Sydney Cup... Have been let down by Niwot too many times (except for when he won it last year which I, of course, didn't play :wf) now and I'm thinking Blood Brotha might just be able to do it here. He's at 8/1 and that'll go up... he's won at he distance twice... Kelinni is the favorite but I'm not convinced. I DO like Tremec and Julienas and might use these two with Blood Brotha in the top spot with Maluckyday added in underneath in one tri but yeah... thinking of taking a shot wqith BB here.

In the All Aged (can't wait!)...using More Joyous in the top spot and yeah I know, I know, All Too Hard BUT we shall see. I think she beats him.

More Joyous / All Too Hard / Epaulette, Fiorente, Rolling Pin with my favorite horse running tonight, Rangirangdoo, tossed into the 4th spot.

Why Hot Snitzel isn't the first choice is ridiculous... he's the other lock of the night. (Safe trip home, Firebolt).

Anyone else gonna play tonight?

Good luck. :)

Rand 4, will try a super 6,9/6,9/1,2,7/1,2,7. Never know, Rodd on its a dundeel, maybe the horse wont like him as much as Mcdonald, slows him down a hair, #6 catches him at the wire.;)

dagolfer33 04-26-2013 11:19 PM

right idea, wrong horses:zz:

my miss storm cat 04-26-2013 11:25 PM

Only watching on and off... what happened to Reliable Man???

dagolfer33 04-26-2013 11:29 PM

He got out on the field, they couldnt reel him in.

my miss storm cat 04-26-2013 11:32 PM

Did he break down though or am I not understanding what I'm hearing?

LIke I said, put in my plays, watched a little and on my way out.

I know he beat Dundeel but heard he's hurt, poor guy. :(

Good luck the rest of the way.

my miss storm cat 04-26-2013 11:34 PM

Hot Snitzel scratched? Damn!

I"d be happy to have broken even! I SUCKED. Thanks Guelph for the win. That was about it.

Reliable Man wins then breaks down

He is still among us.

... and then there is this.

Singleton and Waterhouse dispute spills over into RNSW stewards' room
27 Apr 2013 | By Rob Burnet
(excerpt):

A dispute between owner and breeder John Singleton and trainer Gai Waterhouse over the running of More Joyous (NZ) in the Group 1 All Ages Stakes at Randwick on Saturday spilled over into the stewards’ room.

The mare finished seventh of eight in the field.

Singleton said on TV that he had been told by a friend, allegedly an ex-Group 1 jockey, that More Joyous was sore and should not have run in the race and that bookmaker Tom Waterhouse, son of Gai, had told friends that the mare was not right to race.
