At this point it may come down to most of the contestants surviving and the one with the most winners come Sunday wins.

Saturday could weed out alot of people. Normally tons of longshots come in that day.

chucklestheclown 10-27-2010 11:18 PM

Best of luck to you.

chucklestheclown 10-29-2010 03:52 AM

Good choice. Is this interferring with your BC prep?

PeteMugg 10-29-2010 03:57 AM

Keep up the good work, Laura!

We're pulling for ya.

Heck, I was yelling at the tv as if I was the one still in it.

!!

I appreciate your pulling for me. I can't see the races myself and have to wait until the results have been posted, so I guess it is a good thing to not see my picks run. I don't think I could take it..lol

well..umm.. o.k.. I would go that far, but hey..whatever works at this point.

Tonight's card looks like a cake walk (I am for sure doomed now..) and I really will be surprised if anyone bombs out tonight...I have totally jinxed myself now for sure.

Here goes..................

ready?

Race 5) #8 Dave's Ruler :D

O.k.. I am kidding.... As bad as I would like to pick him, it is a maiden $25k claiming race and the chart shows him to run outta the $$....Although Brad and Mike do select him on top.. It was a very tough choice, but with no P.P's for today's card, I am going to play it safe and go with #1)Lutess in the 1st. :wf

(I know.. I know.. I am ignoring the ZC's here, but he was the 8 after all... automatic toss even though that is my lucky # according to the zodiacs)

Can ya tell I am on edge? lol..:o

I'll shut up and go back my corner now.

clyde 10-29-2010 02:29 PM

Oh my God.

But I know you know what you are doing.

Nonetheless....DOO-DAH YOU!! must be played again and Gooey must prepare her special swill.

This is to drive away the evil spirits.

God's Speed, Laura Woodshed.

Arletta 10-29-2010 02:34 PM

Woodshed..Barnside..Whats the difference?

(I too play it..again and again.. It lifts me up and that is never a bad thing.)

clyde 10-29-2010 02:47 PM

Well,none...really.

This is a very good thing.

It's the happiest I've evah been saying ..fucl< you and fucl< yo whatevah, too.

but you don't need to look bettah,ah'd still be in yo sweatah

clyde 10-29-2010 03:30 PM

Oh boy.

I saw 7:05 and my dyslexic mind transported that as 4:05 my time.

I've been screaming profane words at Equibase for being so slow.

And so,I 'm leaving.

mclem0822 10-29-2010 03:31 PM

Keep on....

Keepin on Laura, you can be proud of your efforts we are rooting you on all the way to Sunday!:)

clyde 10-30-2010 10:44 AM

Take it easy..I was only kidding.

gorvy 10-30-2010 03:08 PM

Hey

Hey Arletta, congrats on your picks so far. It's a shame that you could go all the way and get nothing, but it's still an accomplishment. Since you are not ahead on tiebreakers, you may want to keep your pick silent until the first race tomorrow, and make sure you pick one that no one else will pick. That way, you give yourself a chance. Good luck, it's been very exciting!

clyde 10-30-2010 03:20 PM

oooooKAY!!!!

It's state the dumbest thing you can think of time!

Ah love that game.

Hey..Arletta.Do ya thank the guy in first would encourage you to do so?

Pick the horsey you think that has the best chance of winning tomorrw. There's a reason his name is Scurvy.

gorvy 10-30-2010 03:22 PM

Ah, no good deed goes unpunished, I see. Oh well, carry on.

clyde 10-30-2010 03:24 PM

Fine work.

Really was.

chucklestheclown 10-30-2010 04:25 PM

ROT...good nite sir.

clyde 10-30-2010 04:29 PM

doooooooes

arrrrrrrrrrrrrr

ooooooh

teeeeee

mean

?

jwkniska 10-30-2010 04:55 PM

Laura,

here's your tip for tomorrow, since it's the last day. take a horse that NOBODY else in the contest would consider. You do NOT want to take one someone else may end up on. That way, you can hope theirs misses and you make it thru. Also, later in the card is better than earlier (they can get ko'd first and finish behind you).

clyde 10-30-2010 05:11 PM

More dumb advice.

Like the first place guy and others can't mess up their can't miss horsey.

This is the way you out fox yourself.

Let her do what she wants.

It's really amazing how all the losers all of a sudden know what to do.

geeker2 10-30-2010 05:39 PM

Morty's right geeeesssssssssseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Everyone know you have to pick the gray horsey

John i think that is good advice, which i have just texted to Laura. She already had a choice and alternate in case, before she left town. So i will leave it up to her to make the call, i have not put in her choice as of yet, i will wait to hear from her on whether she will heed your advice. Thanks for the help strategy wise, i know she'll appreciate it very much. I will post her pick tomorrow after she makes her decision.
I am so happy for her, she's very elated to have made it to the final day!:)

jwkniska 10-30-2010 08:53 PM

The one and only day to take a chance like that is the last day. I've been top 10, top 25, top 50 multiple, multiple times in these.
Best thing you can hope for is for everyone to take the lowest M/L horse and have it off the board (went from 1k left to 25 left in one of these at CD when a Day horse with ML of 2/5 bounced). Ever since I saw that day, I've avoided the 'experts' best bet of the day horses at all costs.

I hope she wins it!

clyde 10-30-2010 09:59 PM

fucl< you ..you red mothah fucl<in' bo'dah

You are the one of those ahead of her...admit it you dumb as.s
