I would think anybody invited would go. What do you have to lose?? Losing to either of these is not a suprise, and if something flukey happens and you win, how impressive would that be? Plus, what's 5th place worth here, $100,000? That's better than winning some big stake races!! I don't think too many connections would pass on this opportunity. |

Pressure must've gotten to Jackson
Should've waited a few more months before jumping into the DEEP end I'll bet Asmussen soiled his boxers when he got the news Fat Rachel gunna need more than one easy prep to get fit and tough enough to hold off the great western MONSTER… |
I'll bet you'd eat his boxers.

was a good work for RA - mebbe they'll be spraying Z with a big ole fire hose to recreate what the conditions could possibly be like at Hot Springs on April 9th, further move into April the more likelihood of heavy rain rain rain lol...
Led on a pony by Steve Asmussen's assistant trainer Scott Blasi, and with regular exercise rider Dominic Terry aboard, Rachel Alexandra went to the track, which had standing water in places, at 6:30 a.m., and put in one of only two works recorded at Fair Grounds for the day. She covered five furlongs in 1:03.80, with the wind and rain blowing steadily against her in the stretch. |
I think with that purse structure they will fill the field? Will Life is Sweet be tempted? 3rd is 500k.. That Repent filly out of Florida is worthy of a shot. I havent heard what is up with Careless Jewel and see she isnt working so I guess she is out.
|
They said they were going to give Sweet Repent a break. Of course they now have several million reasons not to now.

I don't mean to bust your chops (OK, I do), but it is kind of nice if people actually respond to what you write. |
PS: I do miss WS day games!

If you really wanted to (sort of) answer the question, you could have said rain-delayed golf and tennis tournaments and auto racing events, or the 18 hole playoff in the U.S. Open (golf)--but these are all contingencies, not scheduled. Only horse racing is so stupid.

Namecalling when I am not here, don't worry I will be back here in April to see how the fanclub is doing after Rachel loses to Zenyatta, that is unless Jackson backs out at the last minute with an excuse(the probable injury excuse). You guys are so delusional this will be fun if it happens. BTW. Nice job Smooth Operator, these guys/gals never change. |
Don't come back with that prissy attitude, sister.

You know, those things you wear when you're posing in front of the mirror in your studio apartment on a Saturday night. |
Still can't believe Jackson lost his composure like this
Being a 6-year-old now, Z's bound to lose a step or two at some point this season … so it clearly would've been in their best interest to duck Z for as long as possible. But hey … we'll take it  |
By the way, hilarious to see JB losing his cool over on the T-G board.
Some dude just states a simple fact (RA ducked the Travers) in a Z thread … and JB tells the guy to take a hike for a couple weeks. Too funny |

I think between CSC and USC that there is some disconnect in CSC taking offense with ateam's USC smacktalk.
|
If Zenyatta loses to St. Trinians...will Zenyatta keep going or be retired?
