Back on the track tonight.
Maybe.

For at least 2 years now. He is a distributor. If anything
Hedo's role on Orlando should have worked well for Dirk
at Dallas.

Alston can create. He is just really inconsistent. And Nelson
is much more of a creator than any of the Dallas points
.

Nothing that i can say can make this look sillier than it already does. Lets agree to disagree and get on down the road.

I agree with the coach!

I dont.

Which Dallas PG can create his own offense better
than Nelson? I will give you a hint. He now plays
for New Jersey.

This is a pretty uninspired back to the wall performance being put out by the magic. Its almost as if they have thrown in the towel. Their rotation on the perimeter has been awful.

Stickhorse 06-14-2009 09:04 PM

Where did Dwight Howard disappear to?

Except for his throw down of Fish he has disappeared.

C'mon Hayters............you can't blame this on the refs!

dalakhani 06-14-2009 09:05 PM

Dwight Howard with his fifth foul with 1:00 left in the third. I want to hear about how the refs cheated Orlando in this one. Howard totally left his team at the altar with a gutless performance. 9 points and 7 rebounds through 3 quarters. Jameer Nelson looks like a real "creator" out there. LOL

dalakhani 06-14-2009 09:13 PM

LOL. Stan Van Gundy starts the quarter off telling the sideline reporter that they "need a lot of stops". So what does he do? He decides to cover the best one on one player in the world with...JJ redick.

Turk has been going through the motions the whole game.

dalakhani 06-14-2009 09:21 PM

I have to understand why JJ Redick is getting minutes yet again. Back to the wall, down 3-1 in the fourth quarter and you have JJ redick in the game. Either the GM or the coach needs to get heat for this.

Stickhorse 06-14-2009 09:26 PM

C'mon Dala,

This goes a lot deeper than JJ and the coach.

This was ...............pooooofff.............the MAGIC disappeared!

A true team effort.

True. Lets give credit to the lakers. They, in stretches, can play some pretty great defense. The only liability on defense they have really is at point and the magic has no one that can take advantage of that.

Beyond on that, i think this Magic team just went through too many battles this post season. Its like a longshot on the lead that fights off challenger after challenger...eventually even the bravest horse spits the bit. The magic spit their's out midway through the second quarter of game 5.

Any chance any of the Laker haters will come on here and admit that they were wrong about them?

I won't hold my breath.

King Glorious 06-14-2009 10:05 PM

Did anyone catch how ABC showed how Kobe walked off the court last year without congratulating the Celtics? And I didn't see Howard congratulating the Lakers. I could have missed it but I didn't see it.

dalakhani 06-14-2009 10:09 PM

Isnt it a little different in the title game? The winners are celebrating like crazy and then they have to set up for acceptance and all the postgame stuff. I think its common that they don't shake hands on the court and at times the loser will go to the winner's locker room to shake hands individually.

If a certain someone says they were wrong I'm going to chalk it up to the Mayan calendar being off 3 and a half years.

hi_im_god 06-14-2009 11:12 PM

hi laker fan.

i just want you to know that living in l.a. is going to be even more insufferable than usual the next week because of you.

somewhere in japan, an engineer who worked 60 hours/week for 4 months designing the most efficient possible airflow will see a short news clip of you with the all the dorky laker flags flapping outside your 2003 corolla, drunkenly screaming "wooooo, lakers!!!", and realize just how futile his life has been.

their culture will prevent his widow and orphan's from telling you what a tool you look like.

but not me.

God this makes Cleveland look even worse.
The Magic totally layed down again, they
pulled this against the Celtics for a game
also.

I thought it might be out of their system.
That was a horrid effort. Losing with
effort at least gives some hope that you
have a team.

Awful.

GPK 06-15-2009 10:52 AM

No doubt an epic series!!

Wow, Orlando plays LA and we stll need to get a Cleveland cheap shot in...awesome.

Listen....Cleveland is what they were...they pounded the bad teams a hair better than the other of the "big 4". They went 3-6 in the season against Orlando, LA and Boston. They played best against Boston. LA beat them regular season worse than Orlando. Ignore the 66 wins...Orlando was a better team than Cleveland and so was LA. Cleveland would have had as much success against LA as they did against Orlando. Orlando's luck ran out. Just like the series before when they were up against Cleve 3-1 they could have just as easily been down that series 3-1. They weren't...the better team won. This series they could have been up 3-1 against LA but they weren't. Against Cleveland, they won 2 of the 3 buzzer games. This series they lost both buzzer games. The better team won. The best team in the league won the title as it did last year and the year before.

The facts remain, Cleveland played fine. They played a better team and were possibly a couple Rashard Lewis threes with under 10 seconds left from winning the series. As I say it still says Cleveland on their jerseys. Against LA, Lee misses a wide open layup to win a game. Howard and Turk miss every free throw in the 4th against LA. Howard in the 4th NEVER missed both against Clev...he simply did against LA.

This bolded is a cool renovation of the Dennis Green
"they are who we thought they were".

I hear ya though. No cheap shots intended.

I hate the Lakers but I am rarely wrong. I was wrong about the finals, I picked it in 6. I picked Orlando to make the finals....I saw no other genius on this board pick Orlando to the finals.

from early April....

The Cavaliers still have that word in front of their nickname..."Cleveland". That alone pretty much disqualifies them from winning it. I've seen it time and time again...nothing else matters much other than that. Garnett getting hurt was the worst thing for them believe it or not. They have always matched up horribly against Orlando for whatever reason...and I think Garnett's injury may push the Magic over the Celtics. I hope not.

Lakers 4 to 2 over Magic. None of the other series' really matter.

...there you go dala, you great basketball guru. I hate the Lakers and was righter than you.

LOL.... and you really should have been right on with 4 - 2... though the Magic could easily been up 3-2 right now and headed back to LA, where they would have lost 2 straight... if they had not choked so bad in two games.

Edit: I see you already addressed the choking part in a previous post.
