I just dont get it why the Sopranos got so much SPORTS coverage. Like wackin people is a sport.

UH, sports book, horse racing, golf, strippers, mafia, gambling, NFl, NBA, college sports, Tony's kids playing soccer and football...all the things most men enjoy.

Here is my theory, which could easily fit into continuing the show into the future...

I have heard that they filmed 3 different endings, each of which could have taken the place of the black screen. What a better marketing tool for the DVD's than "See what REALLY happened in the end!!!". I think that is all they were looking for.

Plus, any or all of those three endings could eventually lead into a movie or additional seasons when the guys realize that their entire acting careers at this point are tied to The Sopranos and need a little pocket change...

I had some time off today as I had to pick up my son at Seton Hall...made a quick lunch stop in Bloomfield at Holstens...the ice cream parlor from the show. The place was packed with out of towners and locals. Everybody had cameras. I sat at the couter next to a gal who drove all the way from Virginia Beach to visit all the HBO sites from the show.
They are capitalizing on the show with t shirt sales (tacky).

Drove past Bada Bings on the way there. Place was acked at lunch time.
