You guys are crazy. These positions aren't cursed....And not winning from 20. There have been only 9 other Derbys where 20 actually went. Hardly much of a sample. People need to get a grip.

Maybe so, but facts are facts... makes me nervous. LOL

Cajun, you are a better handicapper than liking the numbers 3 and 7. That's close to picking horses based on color.

Lucky numbers, Randall... what can I say? Doesn't mean I play them still, but as a kid, I had luck with those numbers.

Remember... they have been 'teaching' him to rate. We'll see...

Hickory Hill Hoff 05-02-2007 04:41 PM

If so...who goes for the lead?

Hickory Hill Hoff 05-02-2007 04:43 PM

I can see Teuflesberg, Hard Spun and Liquidity up front... perhaps Bwana Bull and Cowtown Cat close? I'm no good at this stuff... lol.

H cubed...I am very happy with that post. Been on the GH bandwagon for long time now. His best shot will be making his "one run" move and this post will enable him to settle perfectly towards the rear. Let the speed die and he is gonna come running them all down.

Post will also insure better odds as well.

20 is perfectly fine for him. I agree. Enough speed inside that will go that he'll be able to drop down before the turn.

I've liked him too...the Bluegrass was a throwout and he'll be a price, but to pick him on top...I don't know

Hickory Hill Hoff 05-02-2007 04:54 PM

Storm in May...30-1???
BTW will love it!

drop down into a perfect 5 wide position for the turn, yep no problem whatsoever.

or he can drop further back in the pack and get closer to the rail, of course that is not his best running style and he will not have a hot pace to run at either.

face it, he's toast.

I liked the horse also, but there is no standout in this field that can win with such a post.
