Trainer - Move up

I suspect that our current trainer Chuck Simon :) might be able to move her up from the previous trainer Maria Pinzon (never heard of her).

Also, there may or may not be plans to try her on turf at some point this Spring which may or may not also move her up..

We would like to get her a few tries on the turf somewhere in the future

What makes you an expert? Are you keeping current par times by class at Mountaineer these days? Just how fast/slow to par is 1:14 for age/sex/class?

Surely you must know how the horses she ran second to have done since their wins. Tell us about that, please.

Perhaps instead of looking for problems, you should stick to your "fantasy" pick-6 plays.

good luck to you too.

Keep an eye on Arlington as they run alot of those starter allowance races on the lawn going 1m, usually draw soft, they also run alot of 5f turfs which she could be a monster in.

Indiana Downs runs alot of starter allowance turfs also, but I doubt you have run a horse there

BPLichorowiec 02-12-2007 04:15 PM

Congrats!!!

Have any of came home's sons/daughters had any success on the turf? I see the mare made her career on turf, but I don't remember came home on turf. Just wondering. Thanks and good luck!

hoovesupsideyourhead 02-12-2007 04:15 PM

nice.................

Scav 02-12-2007 04:19 PM

24k for that horse is a steal in my opinion. Her mom was a good solid graded winner when she ran and Came Home is up and coming, he hasn't thrown many but you never know. CS will move her up, this I don't doubt....

byk, what does her TG sheet look like?

While I have nothing to do with her, I can't wait to get home and watch her races

Can't blame you for that......

Here's her dam's 1998 form.

She reeled off three straight stakes win on the grass in the fall of her 3yo season.

She beat a couple of noteworthy producers and racemares during that stretch. The 3rd place finisher behind her in the Summer Promise Stakes was Justenuffheart (the dam of champion Dreaming Of Anna) The 2nd place finisher to her in the Oct 24th stake at Laurel, is the dam of Kentucky Derby 3rd place finisher Steppenwolfer. The dam of Ravel was also in that race.

Her nose win in the Boiling Springs came at the expensive a very good turf miler named Who Did It and Run....who earlier in the year, dismantled a decent field of boys in the Grade 2 Jersey Derby.

Good luck guys.....hopefully she will improve markedly on the grass.

she's from came home's first crop-so really no idea yet what he's getting or not getting.
i like her pedigree, he's a winner of almost two mill, dam won a couple hundred thou and was top fla bred...and then bates motel was a champion as older horse.

DrugS,

I saw "Molly" a number of times and she was a tough, game filly.. FL bred filly of the year in 1998.. If "Sumwon" is half the filly Molly was on turf, we'll have some fun with her..
