You could be entirely right with this. Heck, just getting a horse back on the track after a serious injury shows me some hope. About as easy as breaking a cribber of the chewing. We'll just have to wait and see. Wherever Blockhead is nowadays, he knows that I put Corinthian out on here before the bad stuff happened. I'd like to see both Corinthian and Blocky back. Just might liven things up for the unbelievers, uhh, fans. |

Pat Day was no more skilled than many other riders of his time...he was fortunate to be fed excellent mounts and have the right connections. He really wasnt that "great" a rider. |

We'll see if I look delusional or not come May. I bet Sir Greeley hits the board in both and I think it is 20-1 that he wins one of them. |

Listen...I am not saying he was a horrible jock. He had a long career...so of course he was going to get the wins. But he wasn't one of the greats....McCarron..Eddie D....Pincay...Cordero...Stevens......they were the great ones from his time....I am probably forgetting a few....Day was nowhere near the jockey those guys were... Thank god that night when he was all whacked out on heroin in a hotel room that god magically appeared from his tv and told him to straighten out his life....who knows what dumpster he would be residing in today calling home |

Sorry.....I made a donation to charity already this month. I have no interest in helping you. Try me again next month. |

BTW, I fully respect that you've seen lots of great horses and all, but the thing is, there are very few great horses in training right now and a lot of Grades Stakes races...so I'm just wondering, if none of these victories are going to Jazil, Corinthian and all of the other horses you claim to be doubtful of victory...who is winning them? The few horses of quality would be lucky to start 4-6 times this year.

Numbers huh? So if you are a numbers guy where do guys like Rusell Baze and David Gall fall into your opinion? 3rd and 4th? Numbers are not the end all to determine if a guy was "great". Pat Day has the numbers.....but he couldnt wash either McCarron's or Cordero's jockstraps. Clearly you arent worth wasting my time on.......adios |

Euro,
I should write this in the other thread, you know which one. It should be titled "fishing". Goes like this... Makes a cast. Splashes down. Lucky it didn't end up in the tree. Whewww! Waits for the ripples to go away. Waiting, waiting, waiting. Gives it a twitch. Nothing. Gives it another. Nope. That big one ain't comin' out. Lockjaw is plenty frustrating. Comeon ya big dumbass! Nope... So the jerk on one end of the line expecting a jerk on the other end reels in. Cussin' while his rowboat slowly sinks. Ain't no charity here! And the DAY is made. Glub, glub! See ya Ahab! |

I hope you know I was kidding... |

Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. Now if we got down to really talkin' about how to select the freshest oysters or the firmest melons....all I can say is... I'M WITH YA, BABE! Now, let's just get back to pickin' the KD winner...that would be more than enough for me, and hopefully you too! Heck, let's have a TC winner this year. I'm ready, you? W |

Wasn't he running for a 10K tag at Hawthorne last winter and maybe Churchill? Hey, he was still winning though! |
