I tell you I made that point because apparently nobody watches undercards, then you give me a bs rant about talking down.
take a look at the thread underneath this one after I post this, the new one entitled "fastest horse ever"
I think I just made my point, and very nicely.

You don't get it. Your cursing takes away from your points, not the other way around. And that statement did talk down to the board. What part of that can't you realize? Anyone on here can see that is talking down to people. But I'm not going to debate this.

It is taking away from a terrific performace that is "knock proof." Maybe a clunker will be coming one of these days, but I doubt it.

Noone knocked the performance. At least I didn't.
Its knockproof.
But putting perspective into the continuing issue of raw time was certainly worth noting, and not talking down in any way.
Its a fact that this track was incredibly fast, and I thought that pointing that out in light of all the posts on raw time was worth noting.

I think Silver Train raced much better than BOS. ST made and was in a battle while BOS kind of sat the trip. Granted he sat the trip and had to run in order to get up (but he did just get up). He had the best trip of them all.

I am not insulting him or his performance. I think he is a tough ol' horse who has had soundness problems all his life and to be able to show up and be there in the big dances, that takes a lot.

He caught a perfect trip and pace to track and pounce on, and although his raw time was great, I just can't say how great it was due to the surface.
These scraped tracks make it hard to gauge how good a performance really was.

Nobiz Like Shobiz looked senastional winning the Remsen. However I think he looked very green in the stretch as he was running away from the field.

I'm looking forward to watching Nobiz Like Shobiz when he matures and runs a 1 1/8 and a 1 1/4. He looks like a serious candidate on the Road for the Roses. Taggs been there before and he's acting like he thinks this horse can be a Derby winner.

The Big Train put the big 3/4 on the board and Sharp Humor gave the pace the big jump in the 1/4...yo, if this is not the best race of the year, what is ?

LOL, I have no idea why you'd think I'm bitter. I didn't like Barbaro, didn't dislike Barbaro. I'm just pointing out an observation I thought seemed pretty obvious.. Not bitter at all, still drooling over a possible Discreet Cat vs. Invasor matchup..

was making an observation of my own, you seem to see something that isn't there regarding sharp humor. i haven't seen anyone rooting him on at all.

and i would love to see a dc invasor rematch as well. i read the invasor article in bloodhorse, did you happen to see it? wasn't aware he had a sesamoid fracture early on in his career til this story...and also saw he had a troubled trip in dubai. how troubled i don't know, i wasn't lucky enough to have seen the race.
maybe the DWC will bring us what we wish for.
