Maybe she wasn't good enough anyways, but between the Travers and this race can someone tell Rosario that he doesn't need to be gapped off last for no reason?? 48.92 half and he thinks he's gonna outkick them all?

Even with that there is no excuse for Dickinson here, it was not like the fractions were particularly fast.

I can't see anything Paco did wrong there, he did exactly what he was supposed to do, put her on the lead, crawled up front but was not strangling her. She just flat out was not good enough without an excuse.

Interesting how much Lady Eli was lugging in in the stretch run. How about that performance from Antonoe? Dreadful.

Rosario certainly didn't help his cause sitting that far back off a crawling pace, at least Jose Ortiz was not going to just sit there and gave his horse an aggressive ride recognizing the slow pace.
