Ok, I'll bite. What is it about their demeanor or eyes that clues you in?

me too...I'd love to know how to tell an 'enhanced' horse from its eyes...

The spaced, unfocused, glossy look, like a human's eyes on drugs.

This is getting better . So the illegal enhancement causes the animal to go into hypnotic state. Do they chant "be the horse. be the horse" and have the jockey snap their fingers right before they load them in the gate?

It's a Zen thing...

Its a great shame in both cases.

I think Alexandrova simply raced a bit lazily dropped back to 10f in the l'Opera last time, and I'm sure Fallon wont be overly happily with the ride he gave her. Call it rustiness, call it what you like. I'm pleased that they're seemingly giveing her the chance to race at 4, as I'd love to see her reconfirm my view that she is seriously good by repeating the style of those 3 Oaks wins.

Dylan Thomas has still put up the best middle-distance performance by a three-year-old on turf this season (Irish Derby). All we've really learnt of him from the Belmont run is that he doesn't act on dirt. I'm sure he will prove best over a mile and a half, and next year's Arc should be his target.

Yeah, sure.
How do you explain said form reversals then?
And why do ALL the potential culprits share this trait?
