Not excusing this at all. It's unfortunate, but also one of the realities of the internet. It gives everyone a chance to show how stupid they are.

I know you realize this, but some act as though it's one sided. There are a lot of ignorant people on both sides who do the same thing. Which reminds me of one of my favorite clips from Bill Maher's show.
