The "assumption" that we would make is based upon the thousands of posts that you have made here. Perhaps we all have you read wrong...but I doubt it.

So you are still arguing that you know what I think and how I feel better than I do. And if I say differently, I am wrong?

Wow - hard to argue with that stellar logic :D

Assumptions! Or un-American buffoons. I'll go with ... intolerant un-American buffoon, thanks!

Here's a cheer to all the people who read these threads, that are appalled at the repeated intolerance some here show, the nastiness, and the sheer rudeness expressed by the narrow-minded and bigoted. Perhaps we all have some of you read wrong ... but I doubt it.

Who are we to judge these people? Imposing our morals on them shows typical American arrogance. We have only been around for 300 years or so and we judge these ancient people whose customs are thousands of years old? Perhaps your anti-muslim discrimination and racism kicking in again?

It took a while but I knew it was only a matter of time. Just a little disappointed that you didn't slip strawman in there somewhere.

Poor you! How in the world could anybody possibly think you were intolerant of other people's views?

Why, certainly not by reading your posts! :D

Thank you for admitting that.

C'mon this is too easy...

Didn't we have slavery 160 years ago? Yeah? So what gives us the right to force our beliefs and values on other countries?

It's hypocritical. You can't save the world and you cannot change strangers.

I'm sick of the romanticism. Read a history book. We aren't the saviors of humanity.

All I wanted to do is hang a man from his balls till he starves.

Riot you need to work out that guilt you’re so evidently harboring in another forum, like a therapist’s office. Just mention Obamacare when scheduling for an extra gift.

OK I’m sorry you’re this way.

That good enough?

Dahoss 01-31-2012 10:36 AM

That's a start Dell, but I believe the call was for an apology to the board. How dare you inject sarcasm into a thread!

We're still waiting.

years ago my husband got in trouble for calling his younger brother stupid. his mother demanded he apologize, so he did.

he said 'i'm sorry you're stupid'. now that's an apology!

The giant horse trainer injected sarcasm and I thought it was a Riot imitation.

‘Riot in a sensible political discussion’ is sarcasm on its own.

I was hanging out with a group of people a few months ago.. one guy had stepped on a nail and it went through his foot, so he had his foot wrapped up and in a boot. His brother accidentely stepped on the guys bum foot. After the cursing was done his brother thoughfully told him "dude, you need to watch where you keep your foot!"

Cannon Shell 01-31-2012 10:46 AM

I am offering up an blanket apology to all of the fine members of the board and those nameless/faceless emailers for anything I may have ever said or will say that may or may not offend anyone in any manner.

However if you have reached this point in this thread you may think about apologizing to yourself for getting this far.

Dahoss 01-31-2012 10:50 AM

That's better.

I'm going to go light myself on fire now.
