Newts proposed tax code modifications will put us billions in debt.
Mitt - less in debt.
Obama - gets us out of debt.

This is such an easy choice. Especially if our deficit is one's major worry.

Of course it gets us out of debt :rolleyes:, because we can all trust that if they have more available cash on hand, they would never think of spending it. They would certainly make the prudent decision and pay off the $ owed already...

GM has paid all but 2 billion back.

My bad, yes the tax payers own a portion of GM, correct? Which is currently underwater I believe based on the acquisition costs. We should all stand up and cheer. I know when I own a stock that is underwater I applaud myself for making such a smart financial decision

It would have been a smart decision had we jumped in and back out right before the bailing began. Now I feel just a bit duped. And a little dirty.
