Yeah they're doing it for the LULZ. It's the same group of nerds just branching out and trolling per usual.

The Iran hack jobs have CIA intervention written all over it. Like the nerds say..."It's a trap!"

Started as a muslim group keeping track of their women. CIA can go straight in using keystroke via Echelon.

Same here, now that he's been effectively castrated.

In the meantime I just can't get this song out of my head . . .

He has a completely graphic picture out there today, according to the news. It just keeps getting worse for this guy.

Breitbart didn't release it, but apparently Opie and Anthony did.

SCUDSBROTHER 06-08-2011 09:22 PM

Not only did he publicly lie (repeatedly) about doing it, he created a 3rd party to blame it on. Got to go.....Yesterday.

Coach Pants 06-08-2011 09:27 PM

Mainstream media is obsessed with this story. It's like nothing else in the world matters.

Comfortably dumb.

68 posts and counting here. it's not like any media company's shareholders are clamoring for the ceo's resignation because they don't limit coverage to important topics. i gave up after o.j.

don't blame the messenger. it's the mainstream. not the media.

Go look on the internet, it's no big deal.

The more attention and screaming this gets, the less I want the guy to resign, and just leave it up to his district to re-elect him or not. The lying is what is bothersome to me, he should have just come out and said, "Yeah, it's me". Then this would have been gone a week ago. So let his constituents decide if they want him in Congress representing them.

We have plenty of sex-scandal guys who actually broke laws who didn't resign, Weiner didn't even get any nor break any laws - why should he?

because he's a distraction from more important issues. and he's a convenient brush the other side will use to paint everyone on your side with in broad strokes.

the game was over at that ridiculous press conference. i don't want to defend him. i want him to resign. this whole thing plays out worse every day he's in office.

the sooner he leaves the headlines the better.

I don't think that's him, that's our sad culture and media. Yeah, OJ was probably when media jumped the shark.

he's a reduced scale richard nixon on august 8th 1974. pretty much the entire world understands what happens next but he's still discussing things with pat.

it's funny tho-rangel for instance has real ethics issues, and there he remains. but weiner has some questionable photos texted, off with his head-so to speak.

yeah, people have their priorities in order.

Weiner Police
The sudden sexual piety of Democrats who say Anthony Weiner must resign.
By William Saletan

After all the self-serving, morally selective posturing we've heard from Rep. Anthony Weiner over the past two weeks, it's such a relief to see him finally being thrown overboard by his self-serving, morally selective colleagues.

and at the end:

Why have Kaine, Rendell, Schwartz, and other Democrats suddenly become righteous about sex and lying? Because Weiner has become a political liability, and he's expendable. In 1998, when Clinton lied, the polls were on his side. Rendell put it bluntly at the time: "The most recent poll shows that two-thirds of the country want this to go away, even if they did have a sexual relationship and even if he did lie." Schwartz made the same point a year later, noting that most Americans believed it was "time to move on" from Clinton's offenses. And the year after that, when Kaine campaigned for Robb, he needed the senator's help in Kaine's future campaign for governor.

Now these politicians want Weiner to get out of the way so they can get back to bashing Republicans over Medicare. Fine. But spare us the moralizing.

My lord if bubba's history with Monica, Paula et al was a private matter, despite him lying under oath, surely, showing the little weiner and lying to Wolf Blitzer/CNN is nothing.

What happened to 'what goes on in one's bedroom, etc'? His wife's pregnant and he's texting 'lil richard' to strangers. What's wrong with that? He should stay! ;)

With the internet, there are potentially 6 billion witnesses in your bedroom.
