Like others have said - that card was surrounded by other 6f dirt races. If the figure is wrong by more than 2 or 3 points tops - it's because of a timing issue.

It's a silly piece of writing. I've heard the Remsen figure being questioned before Mucho Macho Man won last weekend - you had like four 9f dirt races that day and consistant weather.

And Nick, the interesting thing was that he even wrote that in the first place.

I saw another blooper in another editorial there today as well, speaking of mistakes.

It was Hovdeys piece about the San Luis Obispo just run last week. He mentioned Bien Bien giving Fraise all he could handle in the Hollywood Derby, when it was Paradise Creek that beat Bien Bien.

That was the single most annoying day at the races I've ever had.
