Eventhough the numbers I put out before total more than 215... I probably was too generous for one or the other, so I'll take the under. But I'll take Nascar if you are giving 35 points. |
She just said what she truly feels. If nascar is a racist then so is she. It's obvious in her posts she has pent-up rage for white people.

But hey - no class there, right? The worst posts I've ever read on Derby Trail are the outright racist ones. The cursing, swearing, attack posts. The bigoted haters. Not posts expressing concern for another human. But to each his own. |

On that point, I basically agree with her. As for saying she was "okay," it seems like Riot meant to say "I'm glad that at least they didn't kill her." I suppose that is a fair point too but, as usual, she didn't make the point very clear and then flew into attack mode when people (understandably) questioned her use of the word "okay." |

but I dont think you have explained the ridiculous "Yeah, that's never happened in the United States, women getting attacked and raped after football celebrations, during street parades/parties, etc." |

And by the way - I didn't say she was okay. I say I was glad she will be okay. Slight difference. |

I'm not saying that rape (and gang rape) is not a problem in America. It is a horrible problems in all countries in the world. But I can say with confidence, that what happened to this poor lady in Egypt would have never occured in America in public like this... I mean she and her crew were surrounded by 200 people in the midst of thousands! |

Randall was right on when talking about the representation of the Egyptian men protestors. You have to read this: http://www.cnn.com/2011/OPINION/02/1...x.html?hpt=T2# "If you are a woman living in Cairo, chances are you have been sexually harassed. It happens on the streets, on crowded buses, in the workplace, in schools, and even in a doctor's office. According to a 2008 survey of 1,010 women conducted by the Egyptian Center for Women's rights, 98 percent of foreign women and 83 percent of Egyptian women have been sexually harassed." 98% of foreign women and 83% of Egyptian women seem like its a huge cultural problem to me. But hey, Riot will just call me a bigot because I feel like Muslim men... particularly in the Middle East.. treat women like absolute dog crap. |
