I get needled here sometimes for being eternally optimistic about racing and painting rosy pictures about it. But whatever I've tried to do in capacities as a media member or slightly public individual around racing, has been done to encourage interested parties participation in and enjoyment of the sport. It's temporarily disheartening that some feel such an eager and voracious need to attack and belittle, but in any walk of life, that won't deter anyone who has real passion for what they're doing..

:tro: Steve, you're a great champion for our sport, and we're lucky to have you.

Where does he get that we have to provide support or pay to post on here?

joeydb 11-19-2010 06:23 AM

Is the TV program Pricci refers to hosted online somewhere? Would like to see what he's referring to.

On your side, Steve, as always.

He depends on the rumor mill for much of his grist.

Steve, where do I send the check? :)

Zero chance Charlie. I have never told anybody "bring it on" in my life

this is the best I've seen yet.

"Blame would never attempt to fly out west and run on the synthetics (aka: Hollywood Gold Cup). He would go backwards if he did."

"This is what separates the greatest racemare in North American history from all others. She has run on multiple dirt and synthetic surfaces in her life with a record of 19-1 out of 20 starts. Blame has run on one surface “dirt”. "

Sadly I think that person is confusing Steve with the other guy in NY who built a forum after Thoroughbred Times Forum was pulled several years ago.

You get an A+ for dealing with the moronic questions of my exboyfriend at the Breeders' Cup party. :D

And here I thought IC was a sadist. Turns out he's a masochist.

DrugS left Erie? Did anyone call the media to track this historic event?

Indian Charlie 11-19-2010 12:17 PM

My hope in my excessive dealings with Smoothie was to get him to either show himself to be someone who's extremely clever and has been putting on a show, or to completely expose himself to be the idiot that everyone suspected he is.

There were elements to his behavior that at times made me think he was a master baiter with his posts.

Turns out, with that one post of his at Pricci's blog the other day, he removed all possibility of the former.

But I was spot on with the rest of it sounding like you?

Indian Charlie 11-19-2010 12:19 PM

I deal with moronic questions all day every day. I was joking about that sounding interesting.
