A shame that BoysAT is being overlooked for the race he ran. No it wasn't MO quality but it was a very very good race.

I thought he ran a great race myself. Considering the circumstances.

Probably - but that analogy doesn't work because they ran in two seperate races with different paces.

Uncle Mo would have obviously been a pace casualty in the BC Classic.

Quality Road did very little running at all - sure, he might have beat Life At Ten, but that's it.

If Blame and Zenyatta had been inserted into the BC Juvie - with that easy pace in relation to the one in the Classic - Uncle Mo is still going to run his same race. Those two closers aren't going to make him slower.

That being said, I seem to remember this book I had as a kid called "The Way it Was". It was a sports book recounting big moments in sports, like the shot heard round the world.

I seem to remember a college team beating the pros several decades ago :D

The Bid was Nashoba's Key's biggest fan east of the Rockies. He chewed me out in a post here when I argued that Zenyatta would probably beat her.

Now, he's a rabid Zenyatta fan for some reason.

The reason is that he is a mindless drone.

By the way, do you still believe Z would have beaten NK?

Who knows.

At that time I just happened to be a big fan of Zenyatta off of her impressive first three wins... and John Shireffs has always been a favorite trainer of mine. You don't name your E-mail after High Wire Act if you're not a fan of that trainer.

I sure wish I could just bet the horse that will run the fastest fig...I mean my best bet on Day 1 was Red Desire and sure enough she ran the fastest in the race while finishing 4th. Of course when pea brain Kent is on her and goes 4W 4W in race with quite a few turns, it won't matter much.

They're callin Pletch a "robot" over at TC

Pretty funny actually

Anyway, better hope this young beast can pull some stamina from that pedigree bottom … cuz Pletch's current endurance building program (see the gutless QR) doesn't appear to be anything to write home about…

Yeah, you're right, he's only won a Belmont and a Kentucky Derby from the last 12 Triple Crown races. Throw in a BC Turf during that time period and he obviously has no idea how to train horses for distance races.

They're callin you an imbecilic moron at DT.

Pretty true actually

Is Pletch's endurance building program the same one that brought us Rags to Riches a few years ago?

Duvalier 11-15-2010 03:20 PM

I think Pletcher needs more horses

If someone started a poll of the most idiotic DT poster, who would you vote for, and who do you think would win?

I'm guessing RHT and Smoothness would win, but RHT wouldn't even belong in the top five lately.

Smooth Operator's posts pertaining to Zenyatta make RHT look like Steven Crist.

Does he post to anything not involving Z?

C'mon DrugS..
You are smart enough to know Blame and Z would have steam rolled Mo at any distance.
No matter of the pace!!

That is just utterly ridiculous.

I know!!!

That just saved me a ton of work trying to compile a list of the most inane and ridiculous posters here for a poll!!

Thanks Byk!

I think everyone owes me thanks too, for my unswerving dedication to keep Smoothie on the path to self-immolation!!!

Look out hot chicks of LA (especially the USC cheerleaders), His Smoothness is on the loose!

I never suggested that Mo would have beaten QR if QR had run in the Juvy either.

Again, QR ran dead last by 30 lengths. Something is obviously amiss with him.

Probably would have to be neck and neck since JR would be on both. This is of course in reference to nobody understanding hypothetical.
