Mr. Light?

I keep thinking there was an Australian horse... ran a monster race here and kinda bombed the next time..... okay now I'm talking to myself. Sorry. :D

Anyway, my guess is Mr. Light... Miss Loren's brother... track, distance, etc. unknown.

Are you talking about when Keep The Faith came to Belmont and set a new North American record for 6 1/2 on the turf?

That's him! Driving me crazy.... I kept thinking not God's Own, not Call the Lord but some faith name... thanks!

Second time that's happened, by the way. Nolan's Cat and now this? Hell, I'm just gonna ask you the next time I can't remember a name.

Whatever happened to him anyway? Any idea?

Yarmy! Steve "Yarmy" Dyble..... Rakti loved him (and, hopefully, his ex-stable mate Iffraaj). :D

Michael Jarvis once said he could hear Yarmy coming and would chill..... goodnatured boy that he was.

What year was that? I was thinking of the horse, Bettybird, in 2002 at Ellis Park in Henderson, KY. She tied the world record for 5.5 F on the turf going 1:00 & 2/5.

Bob Marley? :p

No idea..... who?

my miss storm cat 09-03-2006 05:29 PM

A Silent Witness question.....

Which horse ended his winning streak and what was the name of the race?

For extra (imaginary) points, name his gallop partner who - much to the surprise of Tony Cruz - beat him in a workout?

Note - This was pretty big news at the time.....

Oh great! All the HK horses are now weeping as they don't like being lumped in with the Japanese horses. :p

The answer is (music, please)..... the gifted and occassionally brilliant (well not really but it sounded nice), Highlilli.
