Here she is galloping 8/22. Her head's going all over the place, but sometimes she manages to settle for a few seconds. I hope she gets to work Monday.

Slight correction. That work was on Saturday the 21st. I know because I was there. Sunday morning the track was rain soaked - not that Rachel wouldn't have relished it.

Much more entertaining watching fats take dahoss behind the woodshed, imo

Predictibility can mirror reliability.

Which is good.

Fatso couldn't take Donnie Osmond behind the woodshed.

Oops, yeah this is what happens when I go with what the person who sent it to me told me instead of the description in the darn video. Not that they said Sunday, they got the date wrong.

Looks like she and Life at Ten are scaring them off. So there are 4 probables, 2 possibles? http://www.drf.com/news/rachel-alexa...ersonal-ensign

That's OK. There's no more room on the bandwagon anyway.;)

Don't know about that, Princess

RA fans have been awfully quiet so far this year

Think a lot of the weasels bailed after RA got ambushed by that synthetic-to-dirt goin' little z back in March...

Whatever you say Mr. Smooth. But, In my unapologetic opinion, true Rachel fans will remain her fans through thick and thin, and there still is no room on the bandwagon.

Say, Sparky, why isn't zenyawner running in the Pacific Classic?

She only needs one more race (and a couple nice long drills after that) before the BCC

That formula worked out okay last year, eh, Sparky?

As myself and others have said on here before … there is no reason to stick her in a 10f contest now.

The Pac Classic is too far out from the BC to serve as her final prep, in my estimation.

If Shirreffs put her in there … then ran her back in the Lady's Secret … he'd run the risk of emptying the tank too much before the big one.

Not to mention the fact that another win at Del Mar would do little to silence the nitwits who claim she's just a synthetic specialist.

But an unprecedented (first 6yo and first horse to win on different surfaces) win in the BCC will make them look like monkeys peeing into the wind when they try to diminish her greatness.

So you see … it's ALL about getting her to the BCC in the best possible condition at this point.

Never take your eye off the ball

John clearly understands that...

After seeing his stock mkt prediction the connections of Zenyatta might want to retire her now.....before she runs last in The Zenyatta Stakes.

This is like reading a vagina's opinion if a vagina had the ability to type.

Wow, you definitely showed up Coach with that one. That comes close to the time you called Indian Charlie "Loser1." Your contemporaries at the playground will be proud and may, if their weekly allowances permit it, chip in and buy a double scoop of ice cream for you.

Indian Charlie 08-26-2010 02:15 PM

His comebacks, much like Zenyattas, are legendary.
