Nice try old man, nobody's buying it. I think Midnight Cowboy makes more sense for you.

Did you ever make it to Florida, Ratso?

You would think these two horses would have faced each other multiple times by now, but no, NOT ONCE, yet the BS goes on and on, ad nauseam, forever linked in fantasy cyberspace. I've lost interest, and I like both horses.

Byk while excellent is a NYRA schill... MP is horse racing this summer save the Carolina BBQ.. Shouldn't MP have the big East coast star while NYRA worrys about the purse structure for the 7500 claimers?>

Horseracing 2010 style

The "stars" agenda
Some 2nd tier race at FG
Some 2nd tier race at CD
Another 2nd tier race at CD
A batting practice fastball at Monmouth

ooohhhh! How "sporting" of Mr Jackson!!

But he didnt retire her!!!!!!

Ah yeah he kind of did, he retired her from races that matter...

I think this decision once again just shows that Monmouth is the place on the east coast where the real racing has taken place this summer.

Yeah, the stakes at Monmouth have been awesome.

They had the best handicap horse run at this meet..oh wait, that was Quality Road at Belmont. They did have Gone Astray.

They had the best turf horse run at this meet...oh wait, that was Gio Ponti at Belmont. At least they had Get Serious.

They had the best 3YO filly run at this meet...oh wait, that was Devil May Care at Belmont.

They've had great claimers and allowance races though!

I hope Jess' prize for running in this meaningless race is a tofu lunch in the Dining Terrace with Snookie and the Situation.

Stupid is as stupid does... Rachel is at MP why 150k? Let me guess NYRA got a bad chocolate? It's ridiculous racings biggest east coast draw is running at the shore because of neglect.. You want the best free agent in the business you have to cater to their needs which includes buying the entourage dinner at Nobu. Welcome to the big leagues..Kiss the golden goose even when it hurts..

Stupid is the handle at MP when Rachel comes visit.

Jackson pretty much had no choice but to duck Z in the AB and might just be aware that his horse of the year caught a speed favoring track last out. You must be just about the only one out who needs to emphasize the belief that RA is not going in the Classic.

As for Z, as long as she shows up for the Classic, her connections have nothing to answer for. Let's face it, the intent is to go after the Horse of the Year award. How exactly does she get this by beating Rail Trip? Exactly.

this post makes perfect sense unlike so many others including the start. why should zenyatta come back east? so the other horse can chicken sh^t out again? people here are not even in reality. zenyatta barring injury will most likely start in the classic. at this point rachel has a prayer of even making it to the cup, let alone the classic. the horses that beat rachel are feed for zenyatta, especially at 10 furlongs. its going to be funny this fall when zenyattas starting in the classic and rachel is running friday on "ladies day". i hope she runs well at monmouth and comes back to saratoga where she will get beat again. the way they are "cherry picking" races...you know they are worried. they'll take the "bait" money at monmouth but for 5 million they wanted no part of zenyatta.....not that zenyatta can't lose, it just won't ever be to rachel. they've pratically admitted it with the recent events and schedule. when rachel shows up breeders cup day and runs in the classic And beats the other horse....i'll eat my hat.

Are you trying to say the racing at Belmont overall this meet has been top notch?

The stakes racing at Belmont and Monmouth aren't even on the same planet. Has the day-to-day racing been top notch? Not even close but it is worth noting that the number of allowance races tomorrow at Belmont outnumbers Monmouth 3-1.

So because Quality Road is only running three races in NY this year after three last year he's not a regular?

Come on, Freddy, you're trying to make it sound like Jess got some great offer from Monmouth and the racing office in NY basically told him, fine, go ahead. Do you really think Campo or anyone else wants to see Rachel ship to Monmouth for some dumb listed stake when they're going to house her for a whole meet? For s.hit sake, is this about 150k? The guy has enough money to feed the entire backside in NY and NJ for the next millennium.

What more does NYRA have to do for the guy? They kissed his ass all year last year when he ran her twice. They renamed a restaurant at the track for his supposed superhorse and created a stake so he can hand out the trophy. I hope, like Parsixfarms said, he's told to take Kensei and the rest of Assman's band of superstars in NY down to Monmouth with Rachel and stay there. Dr. W could probably mop up those 80k N1X races and Hoppsey will be 2/5 in the Oceanport on Haskell day.

P.S. I wouldn't get with Snookie with your thing.

To be fair...how about comparing Saturday's and Sunday's cards.
