Ok let's agree then to see who is correct when the time arrises. Just be here either way.

If you and your caddy from CA could have left the thread alone it would have been fine. Instead you're wondering why anyone would call you an ass.

What the f are you getting so upset about, surely you are not this insecure from a poster questioning if a certain horse will be as effective at 1 to 1 1/8 to the 1 1/4?

The time should be next month, when QR will be facing the best of the best. Where will Z be?

RolloTomasi 06-29-2010 02:16 PM

Has there ever been talk from the Jockey Club about amending a mare's registry papers once she's dropped a recognized foal so that she can't be entered to race any longer?

"UPDATE: Shortly after publication of the article, an official with the Pennsylvania State Horse Racing Commission told the Paulick Report that Violet Eyed Diva will be scratched. She will be prohibited from racing in Pennsylvania until stewards are satisfied with her racing fitness."

Dude, the way races are filling this year, I am sure you would want QR to be judged against Bullsbay or someone of this ilk. Let's not stack the deck too much on your side...The Classic, be here.

Do you think that John Nerud was worried that 1 1/4 wasn't Dr Fager's best distance when he picked up those 4 eclipse awards that year?

The Vatican is more open to new ideas than the JC

Happy to have been able to provide it.

When I read your original post this AM, it really bothered me. I know nothing of the owner/trainer, but at least on the surface it all seemed rather . . . unseemly.

Checking back on the board a short while ago I was stunned to see 3 pages, and thought to myself, WoW! This story sure has gotten a lot of attention! I have to see what everyone was able to find out about it. But instead . . .

Hopefully the newfound attention on Andrew Davidovich and Violet Eyed Diva will pay off for her.

I still dont understand why the tracks take entries on horses like this? It is not in their best interests to let a horse off a 7 year layoff compete and age discrimination isn't a valid argument in animals.

Just to tie this discussion back to the original thread topic:

At the pace Team Zenyatta gets things done with their big mare, I think its much more realistic at this time to anticipate Zenyatta lining up against 15yo broodmare Kobla, before worrying about any race against her son, Quality Road.

No, I don't know, but what does this have to do with anything I said in this thread?

Well you are the one that said QR would kill Zenyatta on dirt. You just didn't specify which race, since they seem to be on a collision course at CD, this would seem to be the place where we find out if this is indeed true.

He would beat her on dirt in any race, at any distance up to 10f, and at any track....
