Make it three.....he was off the board at Keeneland while toting 123.

I read that Kip is only running if one of these 2 scenarios come up:
1) Bluegrass Cat or Bernardini were scratched
2) Track comes up sloppy

Other than that, he will scratch.

So Bluegrass Cat lost three times with more than 122 up - twice in classic races, once over one of the quirkiest track surfaces in the country. Yeah, that's a telling stat.

Unless one horse is carrying like 30 pounds more than another, I don't put much stock in weight having a serious effect over 10f.

And everybody's carrying 126. Yes, the weight Bluegrass Cat is carrying will surely keep him from the winner's circle tomorrow.

You need to take into consideration the fact that BGC has physically developed alot since the Triple Crown. The weight shouldn't be an issue for anyone in this race.

How can you say that weight will be the issue. He finished 2nd to Barbaro in a race at the same distance. If it wasnt for a great performance he wins The Derby. Then he comes in 2nd in a 1 1/2 mile race to a horse that was made to go that distance. The weight and distance will not be a factor for him, the race that will unfold is going to be the problem.

Sarcasm....

Just pointing out a fact, slot.....at this point, Bern is 2 for 2 while carrying more than 122.....Cat is 0 for 3.

Never said it was a huge issue.
