I still have as many as 4 horses for GP on a few different entries - D' Funnybone/Esk/Rule as the three common ones - and Ice Box and Pulsion once.

I also can inflate my top score with up to 250 points ref points. Still - I don't like my chances.

With Ice Box winning and Awesome Gem returning today and finishing in 3rd place, your chances suddenly improved as you are now in 3rd place. Hope you can stay there - there may be some stables behind you with Conveyence or Eagle Poise. Nice job regardless in the first month of this contest.

I can inflate my way into 2nd place because I haven't used any friend referral points yet .. and the guy who is in 1st place is also in 2nd place now .. referral points go to your top stable .. so his 2nd place entry can't inflate.

The one big problem is that I have like no friends... let alone five.

Would someone please like to be my friend and enter this thing and hook me up with the friend referral points?

It was all because of Ice Box.

If someone told me a month ago that Ice Box would win the Florida Derby I would have considered myself a near cinch to win it all. I didn't even like Ice Box's chances - but in order to beat a field that huge in a contest that short - you need a live bomb somewhere.

I'll end up 2nd ... I'm guessing the guy who's going to win...

A.) probably didn't use Eskenderya like I did (<-- dumb move by me)

B.) probably didn't use St Trinians like I did (<-- smart move that didn't work)

C.) Used only Looking At Lucky and Rule instead

D.) Also had Ice Box and Crisp

And The Usual QT, he probably lucked out on too.

Nice work on the referral points -- you are now in second place. Have you tried the new stable visibility feature? It works pretty good and you can now see the winner's stable. I wonder how many people will turn on this feature for their April stables.

Multiple stables will make sense again in April to capture as many of the Grade 1 scenarios as possible. A big mystery is whether Informed Decision will be entered in the Vinery Madison. She has no published workouts but is probably running 2-mile licks up a steep hill on one of Strawbridge's farms somewhere.
