That really hurt, killed my pk4 and my plays. I don't think the 6 was getting by the 5 no matter what happened there and I don't think he cost the 6 the race, but it is what it is. I still think the 5 was the best horse in that race. I was shokced to see he went off at 7-1. :mad:

The problem I have with this DQ is that it wasn't a typical case of herding. While the 5 was coming out under lefty whipping, the 6 was coming back into him under righty whip. So, I don't know how much the 6 got the worst of it, as he was also coming backing into the 5, also impeding that one's run. Of all the blatant cases of herding that the CALI stewards have overlooked this past year, this is the one they choose to act on?

The horse actually ran a great race. Taking back and rating after going to the front. I think the 6 was going to hang and not get by also. That being said, the horses ended up in about the 5 path. Plus it didn't help that you had one of the lower tier guys aboard. Gomez would have probably been left up, but taking Valdez down is a no brainer.

the #9 here is a false fav.....2nd in a slow race...I even love Mutakddim big time and I cant even play this one....the fact the #5 isnt getting pounded tells me this thing is wide open. unless that filly had surgery or something to clean up a throat then no way it wins
