I remember my late friend Cory going on a crazy rant the minute after the Rams beat us in the 2002 NFC championship game, saying that he's betting the house on the Rams, and that it's not even a watchable game because of the lobsidedness, yadda yadda yadda. I remember it like it was yesterday. We tore his Reggie White jersey off of him and whipped him with it. My 2nd most fondest football memory with him, next to the last game at the Vet, when Jurevicius silenced the crowd after BURNING Levon Kirkland. You could hear a rat squeeze a $hit out it was that quiet after the game. Some drunk guys were climbing the black fence to get into the game, it was great. (until the 2nd half).

This year reminds me of that for some reason. The Steelers are going to be heavy faves (in terms of Conference Champions), and the Cardinals are going to be overlooked. No one thought that theyd be here, but they are, deservingly so. My final sports bets of the near future will be tails, the Cardinals, and the under.

Add me to this one. Best SB ending that I can remember, up until last year. All I wished for was a good game to watch, and that I hit my block pools.

You've used annoyed, and conflicted in the same thread. If you had included the adjective "irritating," then I could of been certain you're a perfectionist brat.

they started one in 1962 about 10 miles west to replace the original Dodgers

That still ain't Brooklyn. Evidently, it matters. He just said he wishes he had a team in Brooklyn(obviously he doesn't consider the team in Queens to be his home team.) I've never felt at home outside of L.A. County. Orange, Ventura, San Bernadino County etc. all feel like versions of Kansas (to me.)
