Great stuff with Deem, Pat. After your selection I had a look at her thinking "she's a dirt horse" and then I saw her pedigree. How on earth was she that good on dirt with that pedigree??

I didn't want to look like a sheep and follow your selection by changing mine, but I did have a nice little bet at 20/1.

Here's a truly honest story...

I had $38 in my account. Started a pick three singling Deem with Asiatic Boy and My Indy with Narc, Imbongi, Star Crowned, Prince Tamino, Leandros, and Beaver Patrol. Left me with $26 - all of which went on Deem.

In my DubaiRaceNight newsletter, I added that I would love betting Deem at 3-1, let alone her morning line of 8-1.

Hope some others had her too!

On the form I have here, I didn't say she was bred in Ireland, so until I saw you had picked her I didn't look at her properly. Then I saw that turf pedigree.

That was a really nice pick. Cheers to you and to anyone who had a winner today (going through results really quickily so apologies for not acknowledging anyone who had one).
