People are finally starting to print the truth.

You may not like it.

I am a fan of Favre, but more so a Packer fan. Livingston prints the truth and that is the only solution at this point. People forget a lot of the bad that comes with brett. I appreciate him, but the packers owe him nothing. Best of luck in the AFC. I will cheer for him unless he is playing against the packers, but he will not be wearing the Green and Gold in 2008.

Well...Much of it is the same old stuff rehashed under different circumstances, but I agree with the time to move on theme.

And you can bring up any pick or playoff game you want, but I STILL would take Favre over any QB in the last 20 years. The unremarkeable lack of talent he was stuck with at WR for so many of those years will always stand out in my mind. To call him "ordinary" is just plain wrong, IMO

edit...What can I say, I'm stubborn

I agree with Cleveland PD guy, but WNY papers want him on the Bills:

I would take Manning over him any day.

Brady as well.

That's 2 without thinking about it....and neither has played nearly as long as he.

What's the worst thing a qb can do?
Turn the ball over a lot.

Spot on....and you wouldn't hear Manning or Brady whining about this situation either! Favre want his cake and everything else.....He is the one who's put the Pack on the defensive with his diva-like "will I-won't I" crap every spring! Time to move on for the Pack.

thud

GBBob 07-31-2008 10:46 AM

well..it's the thread that won't die...

Sounds like he now may end up with Bears or Vikings...He won't go to TB or Jets ( waaaaaaahhhhhhhh) and GB desperate to move on and supposedly ( ESPN) this is getting more and more possible.

It is funny that some people don't recognize the only joke going on is Favre.

It's funny how one doesn't realize how intelligent one really is until everyone joins in the fun of pointing it out.
