The Spain Russia game is the one I am looking forward to.

Turkey lost their goalkeeper also in all that mess.

good luck to them tonight, they have brought plenty of interest to the tourny..

If they want to win today, they better bring ALLAH (on a sugar hi.)

If they win today they might have enough
belief to actually attack and take Cyprus and Greece.
Blitzkrieg of the latent Ottoman Empire.

Can you believe they are still bent about the Ottoman Army getting beat while trying to take Vienna? The newspapers there have played up the fact they are defeating the Euros in Vienna. "The Ottomans would be proud." They just got a bad call against them(BORAL's perfectly legal tackle.) From what I have seen, most of the suspensions were not warranted, but they caused them by running their mouths. Their Ultranationalism (and infatuation with the superiority of their own blood) has cost them a lot of good players.

SCUDSBROTHER 06-25-2008 02:10 PM

lol....Turks EASILY SCORE 1ST!!! LOL

brockguy 06-25-2008 02:11 PM

unreal, they are by far the better team at the moment and they are missing so many key men.. go on the turks..

declansharbor 06-25-2008 02:15 PM

Nice deflection by Schweizzleshizer for the equalizer.

Beyond human..LOL...Turk D is crap. Don't know how much longer they can get away with that. Good O, and weak D. They do a good job with ball possession, and it covers up their poor D. In every game, the Turks control ball possession very well. That appears to be their only defensive plan.

pgardn 06-25-2008 02:29 PM

The Germans are still playing like they
dont know each other.

Chances remain.

Oh goood gosh a little head stapling.
Turks dont use stiches.

brockguy 06-25-2008 02:30 PM

its been a cracking little match here. Germany have hardly shown up but they are still well in it.. They'll get the hair dryer treatment and wake up for the 2nd hakf i think..

SCUDSBROTHER 06-25-2008 02:44 PM

Even when the Turks have been down by a couple goals, they have controlled possession time by a lot. Is that a tradition, or is it just this particular coach that instills that?

more the coach and the passion and belief that he has instilled in the players..

ive never seen turkey play this well before and that includes when they got to the semis in WC 2002.. Take the fella Kazim Kazim, who was known as Kazim Richards when he played in England (Im pretty sure he is english but has a turkish-cypriot mother!!) - one of the worst players you can possibly imagine, but here he is looking very threatening in a championship semi final

brockguy 06-25-2008 03:31 PM

omg

Thunderstorm in Austria apparantly. were all affected.. this has been some game..

SCUDSBROTHER 06-25-2008 03:41 PM

Even when the Turks got beat, very few saw it...LOL.

SCUDSBROTHER 06-25-2008 03:45 PM

From what I saw, the Turk goalkeeper shouldn't have given up the last 2 goals(the header goal especially.) Bad D caught up with the Turks. That guy who slipped is gunna remember that a long time.
