may not be a bunch of world beaters in there (save BB), but it's no walkover with a field that's nearly full--at this point.
|
The fuller the field, the more variables to throw in the equation. I still don't see a horse that can beat him, though Hey Byrn was quite impressive earlier this spring prior to the Florida Derby flop.

after that derby performance i thought for sure it was gonna be a light field, but these guys are throwing darts at him now. What this field lacks quality it makes up for in quantity -bt- |

I would.

You all crack me up...the horse was fourth choice and finished fourth (not fourteenth and Zito might say)...
He was a lot further back in that race that he had been in his previous races...he put in a decent enough run before flattening out... |
If I had his PPs in front of me my response would be:
"He was beaten X number of lengths with a Y beyer. . ." |
Riley Tucker to the Preakness...
Macho Uno heads for OH Derby... Harlem Rocker the last "?"... |

excuse my ignorance, but any chance we now see 4/5 or even money on big brown with 12 entries?

Gonna use Yankee Bravo in the runner-up spot much like Midway Road in '03.
|
He probably will be about 2/5 and if he is, he might just be the best value in the race.
He should easily be 1/9 against these mules. |
