What I like about KEE is that between the available headon replays and the TRAKUS data, you can get some additional insight into the race.

For example, in race 5, the winner was widest without cover the entire trip and
ran more in terms of distance than any other horse in the field (from 1 to 39 ft. more); including the 8, which ran 19 ft. less and drafted until the turn. While she was squeezed late by Kent D, costing her the race, she also came out significantly a few strides after the break, severely impeding the 9.

Race 6

Bullara ran 8 ft more than Sir Lowery and 17 ft more than Master Mizzen. The distance challenged MM is thus able to look real good handling 8.5F; I would too, if I'd drafted inside just about the entire race.

Race 9

Dancing Forever ran 25 ft less than Drilling for Oil and a whopping 98 ft less than Brass Hat. I'll never hear the end of this one from that old geezer at my local OTB who was arguing that DF was better than Einstein off their most recent confrontation.

Personally, the more info I get the more I realize that LUCK plays a much larger role in these results than I'd feel comfortable admitting.

I agree and posted something last week about Trakus. Have you ever gone to the Trakus website at Keeneland's site. The information is unreal and would take a great while to digest but would be well worth it

Here's the link and lots of info to look at.

Yikes.

Congrats to those who posted a +ROI today.

Just looked at the Elkhorne and Brass Hat ran 98 more feet to loose by 3 1/2 lengths. Better trip..the winner.

That's where I got the info from.

There's no reason this type of information shouldn't be available FOR FREE to the public for EVERY track. It would make the playing field a bit more level, at least. It would also force the SPECIALTY data providers to jack up their game a bit.

Then again, tracks like GP can't even property time their races, so, it's clearly asking TOO MUCH.
