Thank goodness I hit Santa Anita, because my day at Oaklawn was not very good.:confused:

I really do need to do my handicapping late at night. 8.60 but I will take it. Now if I can only find my 2008 Slew's Tizzy, I wil be in fire. I did pick the exacta. Too bad they don't count. My handicapping is better at 10pm.

G will be happy with 3.40 too. He gave me his picks before he left last night. (Was babysitting.) I think we have to start doing our picks then. :D

Congratulations to all who selected Yankee Bravo. I liked his PPs but was more impressed with his bloodline. His sire, Yankee Gentleman, is sire of hard-luck third place finisher in Delta Jackpot, Golden Yank.

Dang, had Yankee Bravo with Cafe Tortoni as alternate. Almost switched pick to Cafe Tortoni thinking with the bigger odds his place and show price might be bigger than the win/place/show of the favorite. Oh well, like my grandpa always said, "You gotta be happy anytime you score." :D
