You mean sore horses actually race sometimes? I would have thought an experienced backstretch denizen like yourself would have known that.

You knew nothing about Doc Cheney when you opened your trap here a couple months ago...and you know nothing about the horse now.

LMFAO i know sore horses run EVERYDAY, not just sometimes and some crippled. i know nothing? hmmmmmmmmm lets see the info i had before was from somebody who was actually on the horses back before, and when i heard it it was from the earlier part of this year. hell he sure looks to be doin great now, it took them 2 months to run the horse back off the claim and for that particular horse it was a very horrible 3rd, horse was lucky to even hang on for third that day

Thanks for the info.....I'll be sure to pass it on to Nick later when he calls. And don't doubt he'll call.

well you didnt seem to believe me before hoss but i wouldnt just come on here making up what i heard and by now as the year progressed its pretty evident. believe me im not proud or happy about seeing any animal sore or less than a 100%. im sure somebody like chuck who actually trains and knows a helluva lot more bout the physical condition of the animals can elaborate further but basically any horse who runs hard is gonna have their little issues here and there but its blatantly obvious DC has and has had a little more than that, again most recently why would they wait 2 months off the claim 2 run him back??????? as far as zito goes as good as he is im sure he already knows, why would the horse had been in for the tag? sure even the top trainers(lol ah most prolly wont like this name but a good example) like asmussen let 1 slip through the cracks now and then like a filly he had named sis city (who got claimed for 50k i believe and went on to bank round 800k) but most of the time these guys arent giving anything away

You don't know one single thing about Doc Cheney that isn't printed in his pps. Nothing. You have absolutely no idea what the physical status of Doc Cheney is or ever was. He actually ran fine in his last race.

I see firsthand, unlike you, how hard Nick Zito's staff works and it is disgraceful that you would discredit any of them in order to further your agenda of fantasy.

I know exactly what you were doing....pretending you knew something that you not only didn't know but was patently false.

I get it perfectly....you're a desperate lying wannabee.

How do you really feel? lol

Be careful what you say about Nick Zito. BTW doesn't like when you talk about him--I wonder if he is in love.

I hope some time in your life you learn the joys of friendship.

In this particular instance I only find his lying particularly ridiculous because I actually do know all about Doc Cheney.

Why would it matter to you? Perhap you should re watch the movie "Bronx Tale" Sonny tell C"For twenty bucks the jerk is out of your life" This guy cost you nothing and wasn't trying to disparage your guy IMO. He is just clueless.

It was a joke BTW.

I know, understand and respect the joys and hardships of friendship. I also know you know tons about Zito and his horses (Doc Cheney in this instance), this is why I typically believe you when it comes to things like this.

blackthroatedwind 12-20-2007 12:10 PM

I took it as a joke....and thus kidded in response.

Yeah, I do know the Doc Cheney story, not that there really is one. But, I do know everything the other guy posted ( both here and in a previously deleted thread ) is complete BS.

I understand people in racing are open to criticism here, and much of it is fair, just as it often involves people I know. However, if I feel someone is being unfair I am more than ready to at least try and inject a kernel of truth. We all leave plenty of room for fair criticism.....I just wish people would stick to that.

I look forward to the day we meet. I might even by you a beer or Captains and Coke. I, for one, believe criticism is good (along as it is criticism based on fact and sound reasoning). If it wasn't for warranted criticism, then we would never get better at anything. And truth always trumps everything.
