While Michigan has 7 NC titles, I don't see them on the up and up while I DO see LSU headed that direction. This is JMO for what it is worth...

I'm sorry ma'am...your opinion is worthless.

As per usual.

The top coaching jobs well recognized as such are Alabama,Michigan,Notre Dame,Ohio State,Oklahoma....and several others ...none of which would be the LSU.

who broke the story that miles spoke with michigan last week? the detroit free press.
why? because they, and many others up there, and elsewhere nationally, cannot fathom someone rejecting michigan in favor of lsu--or practically any team. especially a coach who had professed in the past that the job there was his dream job. he's an alum, he has ties. and he's proven himself a winner, which michigan badly wants...

they just had a report on espn that went over the miles situation. they're now crossing miles off the michigan search list, and saying mich needs to go to the list of the 20-odd coaches they have, and begin anew.

Clarity?

You are following the story as you want it to be.

What is happening and has happened is right there for those that can decipher a simple code.

When Miles stops talking to the Michigan president on the tely about the weather and minor league hockey....then we may know something.

3 yrs from now, michigan is deeper in the toilet than they are now, and begging miles to save them, he'll go next time for sure. he's a michigan player and alum and taught by Bo! in Bama terms "momma called", miles will go back to michigan.

Your work has been pretty good here in this thread..

Per my horoscope today:

The advice you dole out today will have more impact than you intend it to have. Unfortunately, there is a strong tendency for words to be misinterpreted today -- so be gentle. People who ask your opinion could get defensive: If you tell them to 'chill out', they may hear 'don't be pompous.' You cannot be responsible for the way other people react, but you can make an effort to play it safe. Avoid any of the usual hotheads if you can.

Perhaps I should listen? LMAO :p

Tressel,Stoops,Petey,Mrs. Weiss and Suburban Meyer have all secretly applied for the greatest job in college football.......hc of the ICU Tigers.

This is in anticipation of talks between Miles and Michigan's prez about the weather and Christmas gifts continuing....of course.

A change in direction will reduce the amount of farts and could result in a refreshing outlook on life.

You might also want to shower. Really. Well then?

I could have made a mistake.

I yanked down a hit of acid before finding my horoscope.

I think it very cruel of you to print Dannie's without her permission.

The argument doesn't hold up either since UM has taken two recruits in two years head to head from USC. Fact is, why would you want to come north when you don't have to graduate but 53% of your players.

What are you talking about?

And who said anything about what recruits UM took from USC? I mentioned LSU in specific. Which team (LSU or UM) do you think has more appeal to kids that want to play for a big name team AT THIS POINT right now?

I would think it depends on where Miles will go for his weather updates.

The number one team in all time wins and winning percentage may sway some thought on that issue.

Mortimer 12-12-2007 01:13 PM

Cajunatah...I'm afraid I'm going to have to ask you to leave again.

Coach Pants 12-12-2007 01:15 PM

I read a rumor on a bama message board that LSU is going to offer the job to John Oates if Les Miles goes to Michigan.

Mortimer 12-12-2007 01:15 PM

I think she went to fetch her gun.

I'm leaving!
