While Todd has who may be the Met favorite in Lawyer Ron, good luck to him, I am sure if Tabor/Coolmore wanted to run Circular Quay there he would be running....Lawyer Ron or not.

do you think they have an interest in beating Street Sense (who's sire is Street Cry)?

I'll take the hard data over the "I was there in April" or "yeah, but one race was a claimer" and whatever else is used to back up an argument.

As for this post:

I don't have the charts anymore but I'm sure closers have won more than a few in the last 10 years, souped up track or not.

No problem. I am sorry that I reacted so strongly.
These misunderstandings happen on the net because you can't really detect the tone someone means to imply.
As far as I am concerned it is already forgotten.

I wouldn't put anything past them. However, I think their main interest is in making Circular Quay worth as much as possible, which certainly makes perfect sense.

He'll never be worth more than he is now as most here would surmise. It is all downhill, until of course he runs poorly in Baltimore due to some phantom injury and promptly retires.

I won't be surprised if this is his final race. I agree with you, if he doesn't win, there is almost no chance he can increase his value, and most likely decrease it, and for that reason the phantom injury is probably coming.

Or perhaps they will need to rush him to stud should another one of their champions prove impotent.
